there were literally people running all over the internet saying they couldnt even listen to another battle cause of what lux did vs calicoe
there were literally people running all over the internet only concerned with when the next lux battle coming out cause they just cant get into these new dudes
so because of that i have to conclude that most the "casuals" were lux fans brought in from old smack era. fans as a whole were turning against hollow. he might have won many back with this battle but his "stan" base def was not on the level of lux or even say a tsu surf.
that is not a punchline, that is real fact
these "casuals"understood lux enough to say he slaughtered calicoe and nobody was on his level and he couldn't be fukked with.
now since hollow winning on all the polls, and most of the notable recaps and famous fans of battle rap are giving this battle to hollow, yall want to claim its because people didnt understand what lux was saying
hollow and lux both said shyt that went over people heads.both of them were spitting with wordplay bars etc. many people just liked that hollow had a bit more to offer as far as his rebutting, freestyling, angles of attack etc. nothing is wrong with that.
i do however find it a bit hilarious that many who were on tay tay trying to give him a win citing these other elements, now all of a sudden want to hold that against hollow and focus on lyricism and bars to give lux a win.
but hollow was right there lyrically, he did not get bar'd out the room, this was not b magic vs dna or some shyt,
