I don't even give a fukk about the tip. The fact that he had to post the receipt alone is idiotic. People with real money don't do stupid shyt like that. The constant feeling of needing to stunt on people you don't know is something I'll never be able to wrap my head around.

How many $20 tips before you're over the minimum wage threshold? If he's eaten $50 worth of food $20 would be generous....but since he spent $500 he's a miser. Either $20 is a good tip or not :dahell:

They should do what we do here...include everything in the price including taxes instead of shaming people into subsiding the employer. It must be a nightmare to go out as a group in the US.

The price you see is the price you pay. If people want to STILL tip beyond that then that's their prerogative but no one scrutinises their behaviour.

That 20 is equalvent to 2.5 hrs for a person getting min wage. Plus they don't have to pay an tax on it and get it up front

To me...The more amusing thing is that he tried to flex with a $535 bill like that shyt really baller. Not saying I go around fine dining like that, but in the grand scheme of things. It's not really that much.

Lots of waiters and waitresses in here. The sheer entitlement of these people.
So let me catch your drift..you want someone to hand you $50.00 for fetching them a plate and a water run on your job. bytch youre not doing me any favours, I'll gladly tell the chef what I want then come collect in a half hour or so.

People with real money do the same thing but just in a different way.

Out here in my damn drawls

What?

They aren't making the food or washing the dishes, they're carrying the fukking plates (about a quarter of the way full) plus filling up drinks

why exactly should the tip go up in proportion to the bill :beli:? What, are they too good for the same $20 a waiter at a cheaper restaurant might get? How about the fast food workers and pizza delivery drivers? It's the same amount of work, what's the problem? And let's not even discuss the bullshyt as "captain's gratuity" bullshyt :camby:^100

Create a class system between waiters/waitresses, brehs :birdman:

Don't get me wrong, I'll pay 15, 20% extortion fee, but it's a raggedy ass concept that needs to be worked out between them and the restaurant.
