the evils of truth, and love
:whoa: I know a few :flabbynsick: vegetarians breh. They seem to get sick from viruses and bacteria a lot more than the ones who eat some animal products. My guess is: acquired immunity through eating things witha lot of germs in them (meat). I think the ideal is to eat a smaller AMOUNT of meat and then supplement the rest of it with plant protein.

What kind of sickness?

There are weak vegetarians dont get me wrong but who do you think is really the sicker group of people on average?

Later on today after this final I think I'm gonna do some research diving and try and find the truth for myself. Just anecdotally I see a lot of my veggie friends getting colds and minor diseases a little more often, but as far as actual functioning of their bodies they seem fine. obviously anecdotes are anecdotes.

Also that link you provided with cites from doctors was very nice. well done

Most people who aren't generationally-vegetarian, or ignorant of the stakes in general (most American vegetarians fall into at least one of these two categories) don't know how to make it work. You can hit all your nutrient goals easily, as long as you also make dairy and eggs part of your diet and know what nutrients to get from where. There really wouldn't be anything missing, so I can't imagine that a proper vegetarian diet would lead to a depressed immune system.

Veganism is a different story.

Yeah I was going to mention diary, but some peeps are skeptical of anything originating from an animal :rudy:

if it's protein you seek sly....

soy milk, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, oatmeal, nuts

fats:
avocados(great snack), olive oil, nuts(great snack)

hi carbs = fruits
low carbs = vegetables....

Veganism is a different story.

can't imagine how people do this....

Jesus christ bro....

I just started my "high" vegetable diet again yesterday. :wow:

Already, felt like I had tons of energy, slept easier, dikk felt like a pornstar on PED's all day. :ohlawd: :wow:

going to see if can slowly ease the meat intake(pause)...

But real talk, eating healthy is the sh*t. It's like a natural high, almost like being a hippie, in a wierd sense. Lowkey, all I fell like doing is f*cking all day. Today I think I'm going to search for chick who's vegetarian, to see if my hypothesis is true.

(school's out, so this is completely plausible /feasible.)

started today off with:
a couple ounces of spinach, couple of ounces of cilantro, few slices of mushrooms, 2 cups of yogurt, pomegranate juice, piece of ginger, couple carrots and ice in the blender = :win:

Been a vegetarian for two years now, best decision of my life so far.

Living a vegetarian life requires mandatory research into food, which to me is part of the fun. There's so much shyt out there, and so much bullshyt from the meat/fish-industries trying to brainwash people.

I plan on being fully vegan by the time I am 35(25 now)... I cut Milk out of my diet a few years ago... and am gradually removing certain meats... It is hard to do when you lift weights though and are trying to get 195-200 grams of protein a day in your body...
