Can't meet macros requirements without beef and chicken or it would be a pain in the ass.
I know a few
vegetarians breh. They seem to get sick from viruses and bacteria a lot more than the ones who eat some animal products. My guess is: acquired immunity through eating things witha lot of germs in them (meat). I think the ideal is to eat a smaller AMOUNT of meat and then supplement the rest of it with plant protein.
What kind of sickness?
There are weak vegetarians dont get me wrong but who do you think is really the sicker group of people on average?

Later on today after this final I think I'm gonna do some research diving and try and find the truth for myself. Just anecdotally I see a lot of my veggie friends getting colds and minor diseases a little more often, but as far as actual functioning of their bodies they seem fine. obviously anecdotes are anecdotes.
Also that link you provided with cites from doctors was very nice. well done
those are the type of ppl i want data fromconversely all my meat eating peoples get sick way more than than the vegeterian/raw foodist that i know. none of of my veggie folk have diabeetus or high blood pressure, majority of the meat eating people i know do

Yeah I was going to mention diary, but some peeps are skeptical of anything originating from an animalMost people who aren't generationally-vegetarian, or ignorant of the stakes in general (most American vegetarians fall into at least one of these two categories) don't know how to make it work. You can hit all your nutrient goals easily, as long as you also make dairy and eggs part of your diet and know what nutrients to get from where. There really wouldn't be anything missing, so I can't imagine that a proper vegetarian diet would lead to a depressed immune system.
Veganism is a different story.
can't imagine how people do this....
