SOHH ICEY ENTERTAINMENT
Seeing Malice like this is cringe worthy as hell :scusthov: but if its for his peace of mind :salute:

That being said hip-hop ain't "eating" no damn babies and causing people to sell drugs, everyone i know/knew that sells drugs ain't do it because they saw Terrance in a "you know what i sell" t-shirt and thought it was cool.

exactly. Vic Mensa tweeted about this yesterday

to white people it's "cool".. "it's just entertainment" until one of these kids rapping about that life ends up dead or killing someone and they're like "oh well, that's the life he chose.. lock em up!"

i don't buy that "it's just entertainment" stuff, because it's not..

now, im not saying violence and stuff didn't exist prior to rap... but a kid with guidance and some direction listening to violent hip hop, or hip hop promoting selling drugs and things of that nature is a lot different than a kid listening to it with lack of proper guidance and poor is a lot different.

i dunno man, should we really be saying white people dont be around that shyt? whites grew up in some fuked up environments too

also whats wrong with people that "dont know the struggle" listening to that kind of music anyway? thats kinda like me listening to Spanish jazz and old heads getting mad that im a young guy that likes their music

im sure most of us have enjoyed bars like "pop a nikka in his head" it is what it is

Bruh, lets be reality.. 98 percent of these white kids and media obsessing over the music are suburban hipster types. I post on a punk/hardcore messageboard occasionally .. Mostly white people. And the thread the past 2 years has took a turn with pretty much all drill/trap music being posted..

The difference is, the glorification.

On one hand, you got a demographic that's like "this is sad, our people gotta
do better.. Let's discuss ways for improvement etc etc " on the other you got "it's just entertainment... Bang bang! 300 otf fukk the opps "

There's a poster on here, from Canada who is OBsESsEd with drill music, when he heard Rondo was in jail for murder his first reaction was like "damn..I need a new savage rapper" :sadcam:

The white demographic that glorifies the music are not only detached from it, but they see the lives of black people as expendable as long as they got music to bump. They don't give a shyt about black lives or the black community.

It's one thing to enjoy the music.. It's another to glorify it and be consciously disconnected to WHY the music is being made in the first place and treating it as just entertainment.. A t.v you watch with scripted characters , not real life.

That's the problem I have, is the consumers being uneducated regarding the problems that exist that create the music, which is just a symptom.

You got Complex writers that can write up a pretentious ass article on why Chief Keef is some musical genius, but can't write a we'll put together piece putting the music in context socially and educating its readers.

No it doesn't because we are both grown (I'm assuming you are). But the youth is a different story

sir, sometimes humans need to put their hand in the flame to really know how hot it is so they wont touch it again

let the youth crash and burn, its ok

are you a child of god, phonzi?
