The one thing that has been happening recently and i do not like at all is lowering the difficulty on bosses/levels after casual gamers complain about it. At least have a mode that retains the original difficulty instead of changing it for everyone.
Oh that reminds me of another complaint. I hate how lazy they are with the difficulty leveling. They literally just make the enemies deal more damage and absorb more damage most of the time and thats it.
I wish higher difficulty just meant the enemies were smarter and more skilled rather than just progressively more bullet spongey.
hard mode should mean that the enemy is better at evading my attacks, and better at finding openings in my defense. Not just a larger health bar and more damage per hit. Think about when you play an online fighting game. The best players are not kicking ass because they got stronger characters than everybody else. They just way more skilled.
