As for the rest you're absolutely right, the overseas tour will not be looked back fondly, and you'll notice no one is complaining about the US crowds being too much(aside from them stupidly booing Bianca and the singsong chants). They need this Mania to hit especially since night 2 looks like a fukking eyesore.

Naomi cut an amazng promo on stage, shes really grown and got some fire in her promos. was cool to see Jeff Hardy get his flowers and bring out Chris Bey. Its been dope to see the Hardys give Chris all the support with the stuff they did at Mania. One thing though...that mixing wrestle themes with actual hip hop and R&B might need to stop lol Jey Uso came out and idk...I think my man was either high or drunk, cause he was pausing and spaced like old nas interviews with Rosenberg lol
Also there was this dance troupe that crumped to WWE themes so..thats a thing

Also Wale announced this was the last waleMania just before online and he said he kinda fell out of love with it, but at the show did hint he might see. Although there was a lot of represention (omos, xpac, indi, wrestling media peeps, ricochet, Naomi, Swole, Jey, Jeff, Top Dolla fat ass in a Fubu jersey) you could sense it wasnt like other times (no new day, no Joe coming to do PSA, no Hurt business dudes). Wale also didnt come on till the end to do like a 20 min quick thing and was nowhere beforehand. So breh might be done.

Wrestlecon was cool to walk about . Kevin Owens showed up randomly hat low to go say hi to Mick Foley, surprisingly he didnt get too many notices (people were either line for others or I guess learned not to mob him) I just dapped him up and said peace and best of luck with the recovery.

I havent watched any recaps of the shows around town, but from what Im seeing on twitter (and bare in mind its AEW fans) it seems like this is worst weekend for shows? Lots of WWE ID takeover which caused AEW talent to pull out (the show I went to was suppose to have Shelton in the main event and he got replaced ). I'll probably watch them when Im home and the weekend is over.

Overalll I gotta checking in online and then walking about it feels like nigth and day. On twitter people are crashing saying this is WWE PR's worst disaster cause of the Triple H, Nick Khan and Roman interviews plus everything and in reality even before I got to vegas...it feels no ones saying anything or giving a shyt. Mind you one thing I noticed...Vegas I think is diverse but Trump appears to liked here so that might even be why they're sticking out about him.


Tomorrow gonna do a show, maybe the WWE World and then peep Living Color perform for free next to him hotel (lol) and might hit the hall of fame and 4th Rope but I'll see. We got people in town touching down tomorrow so its gonna be a bit hectic.


Also too many walking around in wrestling shirts beyond the radius I was expecting.

I said this in this thread, and someone already disagreeing, I’m here in Vegas and no one is talking about those interviews and I’m sure most wrestling don’t sit around watching interviews. And those of us that do we don’t care about that shyt like that. There are people on this site that think the eagles winning the SB was some type of representation for black people. Like they were the team of the people and in real life no eagles fan black or white has ever said no goofy shyt like that.

The iwc is mad at HHH saying they aren’t real because it’s true. The IWC is a bubble and they are not majority. I say that shyt all the time for years.

they don’t show support and they don’t even be at these shows.
It’s a handful of us that goes to these shows and plays their games the WWE2k thread be dead on here The rest just be in here complaining. Why would he respect a community that complains and critiques more than they show love?

Also I left Walemania right before the rap battle. I wanted to see it but after being up for almost 24 hours and my “old age” my feet were hurting. And I just don’t care for the club scene anymore. I did bump into Omos as we were leaving and he was coming in. That’s a big nikka lol

The show was aiight, i thought the concept was great and the place was packed, I don’t know why Wale ain’t rocking with it no more. This is not something he should let fall off, unless he doesn’t feel he is making the money he wants. But I would think this making it to Netflix would take it to the next level.

:jbhmm: You don't say.... lmaoo and most white male cacs love Trump, we know that. But WWE playing into the alt-right isn't a smart move, this isn't UFC. There's not a lot of overlap there. Wrestling is a much more diverse audience than UFC is.

No in real life people don’t always look for their entertainers to align with their morals. They mostly don’t care or know about the shyt the IWC gets riled up about. We just here to enjoy a show.

WWE been shown who they are and who they support politically. Wrestlers been rednecks and low key racist it. Rich people black and white been republicans. Why would they not vote for their best interests as rich people? This is a weird hill to die on.

As I said last week , we gotta learn to not spend so much energy on shyt we don’t like and spend more energy talking about what we do like. The real life fans don’t care about this shyt and it’s not just the ones here in Vegas. Y’all should have stopped watching years ago if this is what matters.

Like why would I give a fukk what nick khan has to say about how they treat talent? That is not my problem

So that's why The Rock was booed last year and they pivoted back to Cody/Roman and then The Rock turned heel? There's no such thing as wrestling fans who aren't on the internet in some way. This isn't 2003. Everyone sees the headlines, especially something like Roman Reigns having an interview with Vanity Fair. It's everywhere.

Does that mean everyone in that crowd is gonna boo Roman? No. In fact, some of his white supporters will cheer him even louder.

What I'm talking about is the big picture. UFC leaned heavily into MAGA and it didn't help them at all. They are still in decline. WWE isn't leaning into any of this because they think it's going to help financially, they are doing it because they feel it's safe to go mask off. But wrestling ain't UFC. The audiences are more diverse than that. Nobody wants to see Trump being paraded around.

I think you’re giving the IWC way too much credit. The Rock wasn’t booed because of some coordinated internet backlash—it was more about fans liking the Cody/Roman story more. WWE tested something, saw the reaction, and pivoted. But that doesn’t mean people didn’t still want Rock involved. The IWC were saying they didn’t want him back at all. Go back and read the posts.

And nah, not everyone is part of the IWC. Just because people are “online” doesn’t mean they’re deep in wrestling Twitter, Reddit, or watching full interviews. Most fans keep up through YouTube clips or headlines, then go about their lives. They’re not analyzing Vanity Fair interviews or following every storyline nuance. HHH saying the IWC isn’t the average fan is spot on. Most fans aren’t checking Meltzer, they’re just tuning in for the big moments.

And I don’t think WWE is trying to lean into MAGA or make a political statement. They’re not UFC, and their audience is way more diverse. If anything, they’re just riding the line for buzz. Nobody’s trying to bring Trump out there every week. It’s more about what grabs attention in the moment, not some grand political agenda. UFC problem was their inability to make big stars because ultimately they all get their ass whipped and it’s in to the next. It’s hard for casual fans to get invested in a guy that isn’t being presented like he is a superstar. There is too much parity in UFC. It’s the same reason boxing is not as popular. People are drawn to personality and star power. Boxing nor UFC has that right now that’s why business is down.





Bottom line: The IWC’s loud, but it’s not the whole picture. Most fans aren’t in the weeds like we are.
