Damn I feel that the Cena/Rhodes feud in general could have been way better. The Rock ruined what could have been a classic match and feud .

Cody carrying John Cena through the whole feud and match did not help at all, but I am still glad Cena got his 17th.

The questions are, what is next for Cena, and what is next for Rhodes?

Youre not understanding what im saying. There's are steps. And Dom hasn't been a solo act in his career yet. Everyone in the ME scene has been a Solo act/star at some point whether its on the Indies or OVW/FCW/NXT etc.

My assumption is that he holds Cena in higher regard, so he had an attack on his conscience.

Either way, it's stupid. But whatever it took for him to lose the title is fine by me.

So all in all..this was like the Alexa Bliss/Bayley 2017 Extreme Rules match build..she kept making fun of Bayley not being able to go extreme and pull the trigger. Match time..she basically squashes Bayley and whoops her ass with weapons all match long..beats her without breaking a sweat. Cody could if cheated..didn't and got punked by Cena.
