This is a good example. He's not flowing over the beat right. You can say that about a lot of his records. He sounds like someone is mixing his acapella over the Lady beat and the DJ is trying his best to keep it on beat.

Three reasons.

1. Rick Ross had a hand in most of Wale's best songs with some of the producers.

2. He tried(and failed) to recreate the Drake Views formula of hopping on the international wave on SHINE instead of continuing on doing what made his previous albums great.

3. That his bragging of his talent and social media antics just didn't translate into good songs after Album About Nothing.
