You're telling me "3 Days, 3 Hours" wouldn't have fit on this album? Especially if he was trying to appeal to women? SMH.
Song with Meg is over a year oldA lot of the rnb/hip hop joints are som3 of the best in his discography.

Digging this the more I play. The Meg joint is a banger.
shyt definitely throws you off. After I heard Sue Me I'm sitting there feeling hype and ready thinking you gonna get something like that for the follow up song but you don't and it leaves you sort of confused. Anyway though, this jawn is a solid release overall.Went through the 2nd Playthrough...

Good to Great records IMO
The main thing that throws this album off in general is the sequencing in general. And some songs just feel like filler and just forced
Love & Loyalty is a good song, but coming after Sue Me, it's like what's going on here? It's a lil jarring sonically, and I feel like Wale lessens the impact of his projects when they have random arrangements

Mediocre or just out of place... or just old songs we've heard months ago
Solid overall release, but with some tweaks it could have been great. But is that surprising coming from Wale? He kinda always teases greatness and then throws listeners a curveball that just misses with most. It is what it is
Sue Me is one of my fav records of his in a while tho, so dope
TAAN is a five mic album.
This is my biggest gripe. With his rapping skills, he seems to shy away from really showcasing them on his albums now. Its the strangest thing that he's so stuck on that slow tempo stuff. Theres only so much you can do on those tracks and he's worn that lane out.Nearly made it through the album and nothing has top Sue Me yet.
Very ponderous and one tempo throughout most of it.
Wouldn't call it trash but definitely not his best effort. It's a decent listen without ever really grabbing you at any point
I like it more than shine but that's not saying much.
