13 teams in the NBA have never won a title.

13 teams in the NFL have never won a SB.

Oh I see you edited to change it to 20 years :mjpls:

My point was exactly what I said. Why whine about NBA teams being irrelevant when situations are worse in other sports? Yes the NFL & MLB have more teams that have won titles in recent years. And they also have more teams that have had no success whatsoever in that same span too :yeshrug:
The NBA has been the worst in regards to parity

Lol.

Tell me breh. When was the last time the Jaguars were relevant? The Browns? The Bills? The Dolphins? The Bucs? The Raiders? The Titans? The Rams?

In baseball before last year the Royals had went 30 years without a playoff appearance. Before this year the Blue Jays hadn't made the playoffs in over 20 years. Mariners haven't made the playoffs in nearly 15 years. The Brewers have made the playoffs twice in the last 30 years. When's the last time the Padres were relevant?

And I could go on...
The NFL is teflon so you cant compare other leagues to it

Those are just 4-5 baseball teams. The NBA has 2-3x that many teams who have been irrelevant for years.

Because that's what I originally meant to say.

You really have no argument. The NBA has ALWAYS been the worst league when it comes to parity.

It's ridiculous to say it isnt .

When did I say the NBA had more parity than the NFL & MLB? Please go and point that out. Your original post before you edited said more NFL teams had won championships than the NBA and I pointed out that they had the same amount of ringless teams.

All I said was why single out the NBA and whine about teams being irrelevant when there are situations that are worse in the other two leagues. For example, the NFL has five teams that haven't won a playoff game since the 90's and four that haven't made the playoffs at all in over 10 years.

And yes the nfl product is garbage but only 16 games and unpredictability give most fanbases some hope

Most importantly gambling/fantasy/draft kings are why the ratings are still high regardless how bad the product is

Nikka WHO CARES!!:what:

Every league is gonna have shytty run franchises with bad GM's and ownership.

The real litmus is in the variation of teams that have ACTUALLY WON IT ALL.

Which the NBA is by far the worst:yeshrug:

You're free to post the NBA teams that go 20 years without making the playoffs :mjpls:

That was my point, that the NBA isn't exclusive with teams irrelevant for periods of time. So whining about the Pistons, Wolves, etc. is pointless when you've got whole teams who've gone decades without doing anything in the other leagues

I never once said that the NBA had more parity than the other leagues. So I don't know why the fukk you keep going on with it

Dont move the goalposts :mjlol:

9-10 years is more than a long enough period of irrelevancy to make a market lose interest

Charlotte has been irrelevant since they entered the league 11 years ago
Philadelphia has been irrelevant for over a decade
Milwaukee has been irrelevant for over a decade
New York has been irrelevant for over a decade
New Orleans has been irrelevant for over a decade
Detroit has been irrelevant since their last title run a decade ago
The Raptors have been irrelevant since they entered the league
The Wizards have been irrelevant since Hibachi
The Nets have been irrelevant since the Kidd/Jefferson days
Utah has been irrelevant for over 10 seasons
Sacramento hasnt been irrelevant for a long time
The Grizzlies have been on a treadmill for years
The Suns have been irrelevant since the Steve Nash days 8-9 years ago
Timberwolves have been irrelevant for years

So that's 15 teams who have been irrelevant for YEARS. Would have been 16 had the Hawks not come out of nowhere last year

That's half the league. All those fanbases who enter seasons knowing they have 0 shot to win a ship. They may have had a sparse playoff appearance here and there but that doesnt mean shyt with the Best of 7 series. The best teams always win

That was my point....

I never once said that the NBA had more parity than the other leagues. So I don't know who the fukk you're arguing with

I'm arguing with you and saying the doormat teams are irrelevant.

It's about how good of a chance the WELL RUN franchises have of winning a chip.

In the NBA you can have a good team and still have ZERO SHOT.

Like the Bulls and Heat right now. SOLID TEAMS WITHOUT A CHANCE IN HELL.

Meanwhile the Packers and Seahawks still have people believing they can win it all after a shytty regular season.

NFL is just more enticing in that way.

A lot more teams make the playoffs in the nba that's why.

The problem is most of the teams that make the playoffs in the NBA have zero shot of winning a title which isn't the case in the other three leagues

I think people who still follows the NBA religiously now are just millennials who didn't grow up watching Jordan, AI, Kobe in prime, GP, The Admiral, Barkley, Kemp, Marbury, Penny, etc who really made the game great. Back then it was really competitive and every team had a one or two stars that could make some noise and upset anyone at any given time. Now it's just infused with nobody fukkbois with bland personalities and boring teams with boring games. :russell:
You didn't even have the NBA League Pass back then so all you had on network tv was the 'name brand teams with stars'. There were a lot of sh*tty teams back in the those days too even in the wonderful Jordan era but they weren't exposed like they are now with the cable- satellite sports packages and the internet. You didn't even get a lot of basketball on major network tv to begin with. Espn wasn't doing the NBA back then. NBC was like only on weekends and playoffs.

Not even gonna get into some of the inaccuracies in your list but ok...

Cincinnati Bengals haven't won a playoff game since 1990.
Buffalo Bills haven't made the playoffs since 1999.
The Cleveland Browns have made the playoffs once in the past 16 seasons.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers haven't won a playoff game since 2002.
The Kansas City Chiefs haven't won a playoff game since 1993.
Before last year, the Dallas Cowboys had won one playoff game in the last 17 seasons.
The Miami Dolphins haven't won a playoff game since 2000.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have made the playoffs twice in the last 16 seasons.
The Detroit Lions have won one playoff game in the last 58 seasons.
The Oakland Raiders haven't made the playoffs since 2002.
The St. Louis Rams have missed the playoffs 11 years in a row.
The Washington Redskins have won one playoff game in the last 15 seasons.
The Tennessee Titans haven't won a playoff game since 2003.

And I'm sure those fanbases have irrational confidence every year that "This is our year", but that doesn't change the fact that haven't been shyt in a long time
