No, you're "regurgitating" the same comments simply because that's the only thing your retarded ass can legitimately do now! :mjlol:
You do realize that role players can start and/or play more than 30 minutes right? When was the last time you actually saw Johnson play? He's been a role player for a while now.

:childplease:

Stop it lame! Now you're just grasping for straws & typing anything you possibly can to dig yourself out of a hole. " Role players" don't start on NBA teams for a ENTIRE SEASON, EVERY GAME & PLAY OVER 30 MINUTES (34 minutes for Johnson). In fact Joe Johnson has been a starter the majority of his 16 year career & was also a starter all his years in New Jersey before joining the Heat, which is exactly why the Nets brought out his contract & waived him because they were paying a superstar salary for essentially a garbage player.

So not only are you looking more & more like a fool, you're also not going to squirm out of this with your usual dim-witted excuses to cover up your inaccurate statements.

Yeah it's clear you have no idea of what you're talking about. Johnson is a role player, if you don't know something as basic as this it's probably best if you stop speaking on basketball. This is half the reason why you're saying dumb shyt, because you think he's still being used as a main option.

Caldwell Pope is a role player who starts and averages 36 minutes a game
Ariza is a role player who starts and averages 35 minutes a game
Rondo is essentially a role player who starts and averages 35 minutes a game
Morris is a role player who starts and averages 35 minutes a game
Jordan is essentially a role player who starts and averages 34 minutes a game
Hill is a role player who starts and averages 34.8 minutes a game
Afflalo is a role player who starts and averages 34 minutes a game
Matthews is a role player who starts and averages 33 minutes a game
Young is a role player who starts and averages 33 minutes a game
Ibaka is essentially a role player who starts and averages 32 minutes a game
Harris is a role player who starts and averages 32 minutes a game
Tucker is a role player who starts and averages 30 minutes a game
Porter Jr is a role player who starts and averages 30 minutes a game
Jr Smith is a role player who starts and averages 30 minutes a game
Barnes is a role player who starts and averages 30 minutes a game
Gortat is essentially a role player who starts and averages 30 minutes a game

Can you please explain to me how role players don't start and average over 30 minutes when I've just listed most of them above?

Still grasping for straws huh :lolbron:

What makes a great role player?

"A role player could be a starter who has a special skill... such as being a great defensive player, or a great rebounder, or a point guard who can handle the ball and pass.

However, a role player is often the player who comes off the bench. He/she understands and accepts his/her role on the team. While on the bench, the good role player keeps his/her head in the game, and observes what's going on, where the weaknesses are in the defense, which opposing players are "killing us", what's happening on the boards, etc. He/she is "ready to go" when the coach calls.

A good role player will come off the bench and really hustle on defense, go for loose balls, get the important rebounds. The substitute player can be aggressive, since fouling out is less of a concern.

Basketball Fundamentals - Role Player, Coach's Clipboard Basketball Coaching and Playbook

You're trying to use "role player" as a qualifier to fit your flawed logic but once again you're inaccurate! By your asinine standard of what a "role player" is categorized as, this fits the majority of the league as there are actually few true NBA players that are identified as legit superstars in the league. The players you've complied in your comical list are actually specialists or complementary players, which means they are not all around skilled players, but excellent or very proficient within a select or specific skill set (defensive specialist, 3 pt specialist, rebounding specialist, etc) or have numerous skills (jacks of all/most trades, master of none) & is also why they are STARTERS & not TRUE ROLE PLAYERS which are primarily players that play limited minutes to back up the STARTERS or COMPLEMENTARY PLAYERS

This article backs up my premise quite well:

Can We Stop Using the Term “Role Player” in the NBA?

"Let’s look at some official definitions of the term “role player”, how its connotations have changed, what makes a role player a role player in today’s NBA and ultimately why we’d be better off just not using the term.

The Vague Definitions of the Term

The Free Dictionary defines “role player” as “a team athlete who plays mainly in specific situations.”

Sporting Charts offers a more basketball-specific meaning:

“A term that refers to a player who plays a supporting role on his team, and does it well and willingly. A role player can either be a bench player who is a solid performer in the minutes he gets, or sometimes, a starter who plays a very specific role on the team.”

The latter definition, while detailed, is extremely confusing and misleading.

What does “a supporting role” really mean? Yes, of course it’s in contrast to a lead role, but what defines a lead role in the NBA? If a lead role only means the best player on each team, does that mean Russell Westbrook, Blake Griffin and Kyrie Irving are all role players?

It’s just a really vague distinction.

And the second half of Sporting Charts’ definition is equally tough to decipher. So a bench player has to be a “solid performer” to earn role player status? But if he’s a starter, he has to have a very specific role to be considered one?"

@O.G.B

Oh look, what do we have here -

Role Player of the Week: Joe Johnson - Today's Fastbreak - an article that state Johnson is a role player
Miami Heat: Does Joe Johnson Make The Heat Contenders? -

But he is now free from crushing expectations and has an attractive skill set as a role player. Johnson can’t move like he used to, but his game was never based purely on athleticism. He is a career 37 percent three-point shooter despite bearing the burden of taking tough threes late in the shot clock as his team’s best player.
- another articles stating Johnson is a role player

The Resurgence of Joe Johnson

Since his buyout and subsequent signing by the Miami Heat however, Johnson seems comfortable. He has thrived in a lesser role and has become an important role player for the Heat in the wake of Chris Bosh’s injury issues.
- what do you know, another article stating he's a role player.

Another L for you.

This is how dishonest you are, the articles you posted clearly state that a role player can be a starter.

They also state that a role player isn't in most cases a starter but a bench player.:comeon:

Are you trying to tell me Ariza isn't a role player, just because he starts and plays 30+ minutes? :usure:

No, Ariza is a complementary player & part of the Rockets main core not only because he's a starter, but because he's their best SF imbecile :snoop:

Keep reaching while looking like a complete clown in the process:youngsabo:
