Adding the F/Aegon plot line to the show, would’ve given D&D enough time to wait for GRRM and the source material to come out. We would be on szn 9 right now, awaiting szn 10. And I’m sure GRRM would’ve given them insight to TWOW and A Dream of Spring. But D&D wanted to rush it. Omitting F/Aegon shot them in the foot in terms of them having to write their own plot lines and in turn speeding up the series and making things feel rushed. No way in hell should they only have a 6 episode szn finale, in which half of it was filler and wasteful plot lines. The books had enough plot lines to keep ppl interested and hooked for a few more years. But that’s what happens when you omit major and minor book characters. You thin out the show, and rush it, now you grasping for storylines.![]()
10 seasons is unrealistic. All the actors wanted to leave. That's 10 years of people's lives..these guys just weren't good writers.
