He was among the last, if not the last, ATG that had that halo effect around him in the mainstream. A lot of people didn't like that shyt. I never really liked Jordan but i respected him. I was a Scottie Pippen fan growing up. Still one of my favorite players ever. But people hated Jordan a lot until he forced them to love him by winning.

Which is why i laugh when i see the constant hate on LeBron because Ive sesn this sh!t before.

Considering how badly Jordan took criticism and he always used any negative comment to fuel his competitive drive. I wonder how he would've fared with social media. He would've all the fuel he wanted to shut people up, and white america would've hated his guts no matter how much he won.

Does he get lost in trying to prove people wrong and doesn't develop as greatly as he did or does he become and even bigger monster than he was on the court?

Towards the end of Jordan's career many people got sick of him winning including myself.

But it's not quite the same as the Lebron hate where people try to throw shade on the skill set. With Jordan the critics had respect for his game.
