The Wizards are the 6th best defensive team in the league. With Wall back, we have been the #1 defense in the entire NBA the last 16 games. The recordin those 16 games is 9-7. Now I know the argument is that with Wall and Nene this team is a playoff team. I'll buy that. But that doesn't mean they'd do shid in the postseason and that would be this roster's ceiling. Just like the Arenas/Jamison/Butler (and Larry Hughes in 2004-2005) led teams from 2005-2008... where they went to the 2nd round once and printed 2nd round T-Shirts after beating the Bulls in one series :snoop: and then losing to the Cavs 3 straight years.

I'll give Wittman credit for having these guys playing and not giving up when they were 5-28. But the offense is the problem and that falls on players not developing, scheme, and the crappy moves made by Grunfeld in just drafting a bunch of guys who can't shoot. I'd say out of all the draft picks, Booker has improved his shot the most but he's not going to develop into anything, plus they try to play him at the 3 when he's just an undersized 4.

Bottom line this team isn't any good and next year will just be 1 year older with no cap room to improve

We need to move okafor last year of the deal for a shooter. Maybe Move his contract for Perkins and Jeremy lamb (OKC saves money)

8 milly frees up after next on ariza

Package booker and seriphin for a backup PG Luke ridnour

PG Wall/ Luke/ that euro we drafted last year
SG beal/ Lamb/Crawford
SF Webster(resign)/ ariza/ singleton
PF Nene/ draft pick/ vesley
C Perkins/vet/ 2nd round pick

:smugdraper: cap flexible with young players moving forward

It's an extra year.

No FA wants to play here let's keep it here

His contract Expires the same year as walls to free up space

they want to play here. The problem is that the Wizards run the franchise like its Minneapolis or Milwaukee.

Perkins is garbage, and his defense is overrated.

The Wizards already beat the Heat without Wall:beli:

The Wizards are a really good defensive team, and have been this entire season. :beli:

The Bulls actually have good players without Rose. The Wizards do not.

He'd have them fighting for that 8 seed. His offense is underrated too. I'm not even really hyping the Wiz's talent, he's just that good. :manny:

Who would you want to see coaching DC?

one of the van Gundys

Maybe Monty Williams if he gets tired in New Orleans

Wizards will probably hire Avery Johnson, knowing how they are.
