Keep your faith in Wentz if you want. 2017 was 4 years ago and he didn’t finish the job. Wentz wasn’t the answer and never been. He sucked the year after the super bowl until “his back broke” and Foles came and saved us and we made the playoffs and (without Reich). And Wentz was terrible last year in the beginning of the season with his accuracy issues, and then we went on a divisional run to make the playoffs. Wentz has been adequate at best.
It’s clear he didn’t work out, gained weight (u can call it muscles if u want, but even his linemen said he got a dad-bod), and thought he good get himself back in playing shape, and Doug gave him 11 weeks to do that, but it never happened. Who failed who?
Even if we didn’t give him the best help, he could’ve at least played like Deshaun Watson, instead he played like Brett Favres last season on the Vikings :manny:

Exactly. Coaching and personnel definitely influence a QB's productivity and chances of success. But coaching and personnel alone do not create literally one of the worst QB seasons in NFL history. The inability for anyone to see how abysmal Wentz's play was this season is borderline maniacal. His own pitiful performance is the reason he is where he is right now.

Doug needs one solidified OC who he has synergy with, someone he can trust to handle the gameplan/Xs & Os so he can get back in his groove as a playcaller.

Matt Nagy would've made a lot of sense, but with the Bears catching fire to end the season he's not gonna be available. Gonna be interesting to see who Doug decides on.

He didn't have one of the worst seasons in NFL history, stop being so damn dramatic.

There was an article released in last 24 hours that mentioned how Big Ben threw 23 interceptions the yr after he won the SB (missed playoffs). Also mentioned how Peyton Manning regressed one yr after making the playoffs and threw 23 interceptions in Y4 (missed playoffs). This type of thing is not uncommon.

But it doesn't matter. We riding with Jalen from here on out.

:mjlol:

But y'all nikkas gonna be pleading for more help sooner than later

both better seasons and more wins in those seasons than wentz. ben wasnt regarded as highly as wentz in his 3rd year even with the superbowl due to his pedestrian numbers in that SB run.

15 interceptions and 10 fumbles in 12 games :scust:

57 comp % :scust:

50 sacks :scust:

oh and this

find a top level QB with a worst season (excluding everyones rookie year) in the past 20 years

23 interceptions in 16 games ain't worse than 15 in 12. You do the math.

and he didn't have Marvin Harrison nor Hines award to throw to.

never gave him a bonafide WR1, now y'all gonna beg for Jalen to get one
