Tired of trying to Uber a bytch past midnight and the bytch is just stuck cuz these hoe ass drivers keep canceling. Aint this shyt supposed to be more convenient than a taxi?

I swear somebody need to start a taxi service with a fleet of lexus taxi cabs or something, i'm tired of these wack ass "share economy" apps. fukk airbnb too lol

i think young people prefer uber/lyft cuz taxis are seen as archaic and dusty. But damn if uber is going to be a hassle, I'd rather call Armen or Ahmed the taxi man to scoop this bytch up.

In Pittsburgh they use Jitneys in the hood. When I was little they had a Jitney station where people would go sit in the station, wait for somebody to call and say they need a ride, then they would dispatch whoever was sitting up at the station. Nowadays people will post online that they are doing Jitneys so people know who to call when they need a ride.

All that said, don't all hoods/communities have those types of connections?

I also prefer them. I remember when we only had cabs to chose from and the racism of cab drivers. I live in Canada mind you. I had to endure not getting cabs because I was going to "the hood" being stranded out after going places in winter because of racists who wouldn't take us. When Uber launched and cabbies were offing themselves and protesting for job security. I felt NOTHING.

Me and my ex used to beef about this a lot actually when we would be catching rides home and she wanted to take cabs. She was tryna support the musty cabbies but I would give them a push on the way out if I had the chance. fukk them.
