Where I'm at we actually have taxis that you can call on a app just like you can call uber. I haven't used it in many years though. I got a uber for a female last Saturday about 10 o'clock didn't have any issues.

fukk taxis. I don't carry cash on me and the cab drivers, (mostly Arabs and Nigerians), would get mad at me for using a credit or debit card to pay on the machine in the car. I realized why. If you would pay with cash, they would try to sneak in a tip and say they don't have the change for you. EX: Ride is $17 dollars, you give a $20 bill, they'll say I don't have change, bye. With Uber and Lyft, you don't have to worry about that. Plus I've had other bad experiences with cab drivers due to their rude behaviors. I got no sympathy for taxi service.

Mfs tried to pump fake me on a 30$ dollar off deal. Tried to cop some shake shack and they said my promo code didn't work. I put the order through again and it completed the order for the full amount. Cancelled the order literally two minutes later and these mf charged me $34.20 cancellation fee. This hoe ass hindu pranash tried to punk me on some "sorry for the inconvenience" All hell nah. Got another indian and I barked on that hoe. Told her I want a refund or I'm calling my lawyer. She said "I understand that your expectation was not met on this occasion and we apologize for such inconvenience. We normally are not able to provide any compensation. However, you're our valued user, I am providing a complete refund as an exception."

I almost got seriously injured one time in NY late at night outside a club in the early 2000s..
I hailed a cab and it actually stopped..this like 2 am

I was with 2 other brehs but cabbie hadnt seen them yet as it was dark.
I was trying to open the door when they finally appeared, cabbie saw them and hit the gas as I was still holding onto the door handle. The force almost pulled me along but I let go real fast.
I'm glad Uber fukked them all over..
