That's like saying the creator of a show is not writing and producing everything. Of course not, but it's his vision and the direction things go are by his guidance not HHH or the group of writers he has. So any blame on the state of the current product goes to him first and then trickles down because he has the say on how it's presented. He's as hands on with BOTH shows (yes Smackdown too) as he's ever been. This notion that he just shows up and sits in Gorilla barking orders and that's it is just not what's really happening.

Youre listening to russos podcast obviously, and yes that was a good storyline but no where near as special as theyre saying. The nWo buildup from Hall debut to syxx debut was flawless. The goldberg push from hour 1 squashes to beating hogan at nitro was flawless. Not giving a fukk about jericho and giving him promo time to go crazy was perfectly accidental lol. Hennig turning his back on flair to become the nWo's midcard champion heel was pretty damn good too low key and there were layers to that.
DDP acting as a free agent needing nobody, self hi five, and being a wild card babyface was great. its actually what rollins should be doing now. Macho tapping back into the madness was great.
Russo's mistakes never get the attention bischoffs did, and bischoff gets none of the credit russo does. He was a better booker easily.
