If Queen is there at 12 do you just take him?

I see he's been sliding because of the lack of athleticism and defense. IMO, this team is not good enough to scoff their nose at the possibility.

I'm on BPA for this draft, Queen has been regarded as a top 10 pick all year, this would be like Matas sliding last year.

Maluach is a rim runner/Rim protector....who looks like he might have shooting touch. He started playing ball only a few years ago like Embiid career started.

I like Queen alot...Think of Boogie/Sabonis. He's not athletic at all but he's high IQ and can face up, get his own bucket and initiate an offense. People think he might be too flabby to get his shyt off on the next level. If he is there at 12 yall better take Queen

because of the contract coby is currently on, it makes 100% sense to trade him. he's not gonna leave tens of millions on the table to re-sign with the uncompetitive bulls next summer.

and it's not the bulls fault either. the most the bulls are allowed to offer him is SIGNIFICANTLY less than he'd get on the open market.

I don't see how a player with his skill set projects to suck in the NBA. There's shades of Jokic and Prime Cousins in his game... even if he turns into a younger Vucevic that's not a bad selection at 12. He's a monster on the glass which we know will translate immediately. He's a solid FT shooter so you'd hope that his 3 ball comes along.

Bulls would still need to add a rim running big with shot protection either in FA or in the 2nd Round, but some of the comps for other bigs slated around this spot aren't great. This might be a decent year to trade back depending on the offers available. Getting 2 late 1sts might be what they want because the names I'm seeing that the Bulls are interested in may be there outside of the lottery.

Maluach would be a project pick. You pick him banking on everything going right and him blossoming into a unicorn type big.

Both guys probably won't be there at 12, but from what I've seen, most people don't think Maluach gets by the Raptors at 9

The prospect of having multiple high IQ players with ball skills that all can score, dribble and pass is what I see by adding him in the mix. I linked to the "Playmaker" segment of the video and yeah, why make shyt more complicated than it needs to be? Just pick the best basketball player available @ 12

:snoop:

Dude out here leading the break effortlessly at 6'10 and dropping off dimes, that's not normal from a guy his size. He processes the game well, which we've learned from the Pat Williams experience, matters with how the Bulls are trying to play offense in this league.

I think he'll be good, but that Final Four game vs Houston made me sour on him. Breh is 7'2 and grabbed zero rebounds :picard: .Duke loses by 3 :wow:

I like Queen in Washington low-key.

They have the rangy wing defenders and Sarr on the backend to slot Queen in. People are low on Queen's athleticism, but when you watch his tape, his IQ is so high that he knows how to defend within a scheme and is in the right spots. He's big and walls up well, so if you have help defenders that are shotblockers he will be fine.

I like the idea of Matas at the 3 and his help defense with Queen and a rim running/shot blocking big to pair with him (which the Bulls would still find). This of course is moving on the assumption that they'll move on from Vuc

Those potential picks suck!

Damn these fools for not positioning better chasin that weak play in
Bulls can't be picky at 12. Some of the other bigs that I've seen mocked to them give off Marvin Bagley vibes. I'd rather just take Queen over someone who may be more athletic, but just isn't a good overall player. There are some players that are seen as defensive specialists at that PF/C spot but I just don't feel like this organization is in the position to be picking for fit with so many parts not really set to compete for conference finals and championships
