I like Queen in Washington low-key.

They have the rangy wing defenders and Sarr on the backend to slot Queen in. People are low on Queen's athleticism, but when you watch his tape, his IQ is so high that he knows how to defend within a scheme and is in the right spots. He's big and walls up well, so if you have help defenders that are shotblockers he will be fine.

I like the idea of Matas at the 3 and his help defense with Queen and a rim running/shot blocking big to pair with him (which the Bulls would still find). This of course is moving on the assumption that they'll move on from Vuc
He'd fit well in DC. Ive seen some big boards have him as high as 7 or 8, and some as low as the mid teens. He's pretty polarizing, but im sold on his skills.

I don't see how a player with his skill set projects to suck in the NBA. There's shades of Jokic and Prime Cousins in his game... even if he turns into a younger Vucevic that's not a bad selection at 12. He's a monster on the glass which we know will translate immediately. He's a solid FT shooter so you'd hope that his 3 ball comes along.

Bulls would still need to add a rim running big with shot protection either in FA or in the 2nd Round, but some of the comps for other bigs slated around this spot aren't great. This might be a decent year to trade back depending on the offers available. Getting 2 late 1sts might be what they want because the names I'm seeing that the Bulls are interested in may be there outside of the lottery.
he cant shoot and he cant play defense. thats just about everything I dont want with a player in 2025
hes totally going to be a guy that you cant have on the floor in the playoffs because his defense is so ass

hard pass. a poors mans Boogie Cousins is a garbage player IMO

Matas couldn't shoot either

He's better than Vuc defensively. You don't pass on Queen for some defensive specialist because of fit for a team that isn't anywhere near competing for titles.

I like Coward there at 12 but that may be a reach looking at where he's mocked, which is why I'm also okay with them trading back for another 1st

They didn't give him a 5 year deal in RFA like they did with Pat so while he's on a great value contract, they aren't going to want to pay him his actualized value in 2 years. Plus they'll have paid Giddey, and by then that new TV deal will have kicked in and Coby will be looking to get a big pay day.

Something to monitor over the next year for sure. Ayo is also going to command a bag in this timeframe as well
I already know it's a necessary evil. I guess what I'm saying is, I'd rather keep a guy like Coby instead of trying to build with/around Giddey's skill set. Coby will be much easier to pair with whoever ends up being "The Guy" IMO.

After this season, Coby and Ayo are on expiring contracts and they can't retain them if Zach and Vuc are on the books along with whatever Giddey gets.

I don't hate Giddey, but that trade was unnecessary with the current roster. To me, it would have made more sense to trade Caruso for picks, see what you have in Dalen and how Zo looks... They already knew that Coby and Ayo are starting caliber guards.

Now you bring in a guy that takes minutes from all those guys and who you will have to pay in the summer.
Trading Caruso for Giddey and then trading Cody to keep and pay Giddey is nastywork all around.

Team will be paying Pat 18M a year and Giddey close to 30M a year.

That's basketball depression moving forward.
They call Coby's name last in the starting lineup and plan on paying Giddey and dumping Coby.

Just bullshyt
Mismanagement of assets. Again, Coby showed he's capable of being a lead guard for the franchise, but year over year they've slighted him by bringing FAs or other players that impact his role.

In 2023, Bulls fans were really asking if Coby would be coming off the bench behind Jevon Carter. After solidifying his spot and finishing 2nd in MIP votes, they trade for Giddey.

Just completely unnecessary IMO and creates the scenario where they lose Coby because they commit to Giddey. They wouldn't be in this situation if they just let Coby do his thing and got PICKS for Caruso instead of a player like Giddey that they had to pay immediately after getting him.
It's going to be a sad day when they ship bro out of here for some 2nd Rounders and trash role players brehs

If the bulls trade lonzo or Coby , never watching them again :pacspit: fukk that

Cubs will be my only Chicago team :myman:

why would u care about them trading zo?? this nikka literally played 33 games this year. who gives a fukk?

as for coby, they are gonna be forced to trade him or they lose him for nothing due to the bulls only being able to give him a 40% pay increase and not his actual market value.
