So nobody wants Doug McDermott?:ohhh:
I can't be the only one who thinks of Adam Morrison when I see him:dead: Doug did have a 37+ inch vert in the combine though

Adam Morrison dominated in the WAC though. Once Doug McDermott hit the Big East last year and continued dominating, he solidified himself as a worthy lottery pick to me.

A top 5 pick.....nope.

7-10 range? Why not? That's how I thought of him, because he's a great shooter with jumping ability and gets some rebounds.

What if he's the next Wally Sczerbiak brehs? Would you take Prime Wally Sczerbiak with the #7 pick is my new question?

I wouldnt mind... but at 7 I would rather get someone with a higher ceiling and more defensive potential. No way id take him over Gordon or Smart.

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
I think he has the athleticism too, needs to bulk up a bit though.

He definitely has the athleticism, but can't shoot to save his life. 42 percent at the free throw line...

He could be good, no doubt, but he's not somebody I take a chance on with a top 6 or 7 pick, you can't risk him being the next Jan Vesely

If you're the Lakers, you take either Randle or Smart, whoever drops to you. Maybe Vonleh, but I wouldn't take a chance on somebody like Gordon

Whether this player is a long term piece for you or a trade asset, you can't risk him being a bust.

the thing I look at when trying to see if a player could be a bust or not is their IQ and demeanor. Jan Vesely demeanor was very indifferent, kind just goes with the flow. Same with Bargnani and Darko. If a player has a high Iq, which Gordon does, and has a great on-court demeanor then his chances of being a bust is lowered imo. Every time I watched Gordon he was busting his ass playing with a high motor. Thats something you cant teach. His IQ seems to be really high as well. Im not saying he cant be a bust, but those 2 factors significantly lowers the likelihood in my opinion.

After thinking about it, Aaron Gordon can possibly be the next Wesley Johnson brehs:mjpls:

I think we need to stick with either Julius Randle, Noah Vonleh, Marcus Smart, Doug McDermott, or Dario Saric at the #7 pick.

I dont want Aaron Gordon.

Wesley came out at 22 or 23 though. Aaron is the youngest player in the draft. He is far from a finished product.
