Who knows what truly caused it, but given his body type… they probably need to treat him like Chet where he’s not the anchor of the defense, nor responsible for covering every single flaw of his teammates on both ends. I figure that’s a lot of unnecessary wear, tear and mileage every game.

If Wemby ever realizes his potential it'll be some lightning in a bottle year like '77 Walton. These guys do not last long.
Now yes, this particular injury was caused by Podz, but don't miss the pattern. There is always a pattern of injury with these guys.
Personally, I think he has a ceiling of 5 elite years. This is not gonna be a guy who is great for 10+. 5-6 years is the limit.
He's certainly a freak and fun to watch, but its Y3 and the pattern is already there....
