Every cotdam inch of GA..except the racist parts
Young sabo is BALLIN over the last month, i'll give him that. :whew:

but.....

i can't give him the nod over curry. Curry is the best shooter the game has ever seen, he's a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better shooter, better passer, better at getting teammates involved, better handles, better bball IQ, etc.

Honestly the ONLY thing russ has over curry is that he's more athletic and thats it.

Westbrook playing insane right now but MVP? U buggin fam! Dudes team is in 8th. #chefcurry winning that
To me the fact that they have the 8th spot is why he should be mvp they have been decimated by injuries it i didn't even think they could reach that spot in the west.

Posting better stats, over a longer period of time, and leading your team to a better offense equal better player.

:umad:

Come up with some BS like heart, motor, and intensify as if those things outweigh results

:umad:

You prolly think AI is better than Wade and Lebron too

:umad:
:whoa:Iverson IS better then Wade.

It must be interesting living in your own little world :heh:

Back to reality, the MVP race is between Curry (odds-on favorite), Harden (runner-up) and Lebron (darkhorse if Cavs finish top 2 in East)

Players on 8 seed teams are not considered. The end :umad:

As remarkable as Westbrook has been this season, everything you said is spot-on truth. No debate at all.

I'll also add that in the 2008-09 season, Dwyane Wade led the Miami Heat (pre-Lebron and with a much worse squad than Westbrook's) to 5th in the East while putting up comparable (if not better) stats than Westbrook's and he was BARELY in the MVP discussion. Obviously, he didn't win that year despite leading a team that would otherwise resemble this year's Knicks team without him.

Because D-Wade didn't win in 2008/09, I highly doubt that Westbrook wins MVP this year. Even if the OKC Thunder make a furious late-season charge for the playoffs, they won't finish above the 7th seed, at best.

Westbrook deserves major props for his performance this season (when healthy) and deserves to be in the MVP discussion. But that's where it stops.

The leading MVP candidates are: Steph Curry, James Harden, and LeBron James (as the dark horse).

He wont win it but he should get more pub for the season he is having and for keeping OKC in the hunt for a playoff berth. He's having a great season but like dude said he is a little streaky and has stretches where his play is not at the level it should be for an MVP candidate. With Harden and Curry they have been there all season and pretty much made their mark every night.
