Interesting I thought Conway was too
No. Only Westside Gunn and Benny have Roc Nation management deals.
Interesting I thought Conway was too
Shady Records posted his shyt when it dropped and Em retweeted itLol Westside Gunn been saying slick shyt about Shady for a minute..
Well alchemist and action Bronson are whyte....c’mon man what y’all expect![]()
Yep Royce has been saying that even Em himself is in a bad record contract (considering Em's financial condition at the time he signed, his deal is probably worst than Black Rob's). Cats been saying since sohh that Em is only the face of Shady, cats on here still fail to believe that
. Bizarre and Obie told me the same thing.
Not disputing what Obie and Bizarre say, but Riggs Morales said after he left that Eminem is very much involved in the day to day, and projects have to go through him.
Paul is in the process of starting another label imprint, I want to say with Universal to promote other genres which makes sense, because from my understanding, Eminem wants to keep Shady very boutique like, and in its own niche in terms of the talent he signs.
. I can see him taking over/being more hands on if Paul is in process of relinquishing for other ventures....but Riggs Morales said after he left that Eminem is very much involved in the day to day, and projects have to go through him.
Those are just words but actions say differently. Every label head who is involved in day to day operations of their label is actively visible in some form or fashion in actually doing so - especially rapper label heads.
Marshall is a recluse for his own reasons, we all know this. We also know that the label does not have a large number of acts nor are those acts releasing regular projects or actively promoting existing projects, so what kind of day to day operations would he be managing? Recording? Have we seen pics or heard snippets of anyone in the lab? Very few are touring and doing shows in the industry as a whole so he can't be coordinating that. And he just recently dropped his own project. Its essentially Aftermath 2.0, a label banner for the head to have an obscene budget to work at his own pace.
you mean visible like Diddy? We all know how this ends...
Respectfully, not being visible is not indicative of not working...
Respectfully, that's a horrible example.
I was talking about his deal as an artist, they said the same thing Royce said. Breh still hasnt been able to make music 'exactly' how he wants yet. Now as an executive/suit role maybe he's learned enough on the job. I can see him taking over/being more hands on if Paul is in process of relinquishing for other ventures.
Is Action signed to Shady?Well alchemist and action Bronson are whyte....c’mon man what y’all expect![]()
Alc been his DJ for over a decade and didn't get a placement on a single Em album until whatever the one that came out this year was called. Denaun Porter's been Em's close friend since before fame and rarely gets any beat placements.Roc Nation makes sure all their releases are front and center on TIDAL, like other major releases.
As stated before, Roc Nation opens them up to collaborating with other big artists who are signed to them in one way or another. Benny’s album is produced entirely by Hit Boy who is on fire, who is a Roc Nation artist/producer. Big Sean is also Roc Nation, and appears on the album. Hov himself got Freddie Gibbs (non Roc Nation artist) to appear on one of the best (if not best) songs on the album.
There’s a reason you never hear them complain about them.
Benny just had the biggest 1st week sales Griselda has ever seen, so it’s building. I never really expect them to do crazy numbers, because their music will never be Pop.
I think they would shyt on Roc Nation if they weren’t handling business, but they see Hov genuinely supports their movement, so it’s nothing but love.
