nikka fucc your feelings. Grimey shyt is lame to nikkas who use trends to be cool. Jay had beyonce ridin round to pimp c. Smh ny doesnt dictate cool, they just ride waves now a days. These nikkas are old they are contemporary hip hop. But heres the thing, thats whos movin units. Scarface n tribe outsold 80% of hip hop this year. shyts shiftin away from what young people SAY they like but dont buy. A boogie loaf gon be iighthe can rap low key but stop dissin the only thing the rest of the world cares about in ny. Boom bap. Dont listen to me look around. Your biggest n best artist n producers are old and make old school shyt. Your podcasters? Old too. Yall dont matter like u think u do no more. Not even to yourselves.

Nope, I'm not a East fan. But I gotta laugh at the irony of mentioning sleep when that nikka Marciano got that nyquil flow.
marciano actually has bars though and made some dope music with that reloaded album.

:hubie: Im not the biggest fan of roc though or these other guys so ill see my way out this thread

I don't really care who's saying who's the best from whatever area, i couldn't give a shyt personally i just listen to what i like. From Asap to these. From a musical stand point they're not breaking any new ground imo. But there'll always be a market for this type of music whether you like it or not - beats to rhymes. It's about balance.

What do want them to do, not try to possibly improve their current situation? The fact is what they've done over these past couple of years off there own back would have grabbed labels attention just through their hard work. If teaming up with a label means they reach a larger audience, good for them :yeshrug: I don't know why you're wasting so much energy getting worked up over shyt you don't like.

Anyhow we are basically arguing over a very vague photograph here :mjlol:

i said i like them, thats what everyone keeps conveniently skipping over.

Lol these nikkas be rocking hypebeast clothes because they deadass think that's what dudes in the NYC hood wear. They failing on multiple levels out there in the boondocks.

For black fans of these cats how does it feel going to their shows and being surrounded by yacubians who there because they yearn for that wu/mobb sound?

"Dated model of judging things"...but why do I get the feeling that if these lil nikkas were actually selling records, you'd use that to bolster your argument? :jbhmm: Record sales never matter...until they do.

You're getting negged because you come in here on some "these nikkas sound old and you white for liking them." These dudes put out good music and are building a fanbase...I'm sorry you can't accept that because you personally don't like them. :manny:

You finally got somebody to co-sign you and now you his best buddy :mjlol:

I need a Conway smiley because that laugh is the perfect reaction for this :pachaha:

but i do like them. but they not NY, and they not doing nothing new. I dont think they r being held back, thats my point.

"Eatin in the same mess hall as emmory jones" Con was there wit the legend, comes home goes hard and the legend got heem plugged. Thoro. "baggin up white in the middle of rooms, had me up in elmyra in the middle of june" Benny is a better rapper than 80% OF YOUNG NY nikkaS. And he lived it, thoro. Im a fan of reality rap. I lived thru it if i hear about it it should come from real nikkas. "been to feds twice, the price you pay for a mean run". Certain kinda nikkas relate you not 1 of um.

Joey is young and makes catchier music. He has some female fans. He built a fanbase over years and now can tour effortlessly and make music. These guys are older, don't make catchy music, and have zero female fans lol. Nor have they toured much....

It's apples to oranges. A lot of kids in NY were fukking heavy with that first Joey mixtape and he had buzz. I don't see that energy with these guys.

I remember when Joey had 200k views off of blog hype. He already had a sound & image, so all he needed was a bigger push. It's not like he's progressed dramatically musically, he's just better promoted, better marketed, better managed, etc.
They won't be as big as him, but if he does 300k why can't they do 50k with a better push?
These dudes are definitely older than you would think, but age doesn't matter that much, it's the sound and the image.

Dude has less than 10k twitter followers and is apparently about to do some work with Just Blaze. So forget MY opinion, Just Blaze sees some potential in dude. Let's revisit this post in 8 months or so.

You're trying too hard. I'm in NYC and I've heard 2 or 3 kids bumping them.

:mjlol: at roc marciano being trash. You probably like dave sleep though who cant even flow and rhyme on beat
Roc Marciano raps with no flow he raps over rhythmless drumless soul samples the definition of NyQuil flow.

East at least raps with aggression and has way more diverse music.
Are you mad about other people liking something that you don't? Or are you just sensitive? Not sure if you've ever been to NYC but my city is made up of tons of different types of people.
I'm from NY from the Bronx, I go to college in Buffalo I have never ever heard these nikkas music being bumped in their own city or in NYC let alone by young nikkas.
