did yall not see how they animated the fukk outta the 15 or so minutes of peace my man Aki had in the morning before all hell broke loose in his crib nikka the toothpaste animation mighta took a couple years off that animators life

That was by far the best thing of the show so far. The animation and the implications of Aki having his life back to normal even with Denji -who can now eat like a normal human- go to absolute shyt due to Power moving in is exactly the stuff CSM is so good at. At first glance it's very simple and "what you see is what you get", but there's always cool themes that are subtly presented in a quiet way, in the backround of all the noise and action.

I had the opposite reaction. I thought the first.... 20-ish chapters were mid, then it kicked into overdrive and didn't become mid again until the big twist reveal way down the line. I mean, the action never stopped being there, but ehhhhhhh......

This is way closer to how I felt. The action only ever got tough to follow in the very last fight and that was for...reasons. But I feel like the art and combat quality kept ramping up with each arc. The power system bothered me early, but as they made more sense of it I actually started to like it more than most other series. It's got a great way to deal with power creep if they have to.

If it's two cours (24 eps or so) there's no doubt we are getting that

I'm not sure how they're running it, but I really hope that's how they go about it. And I hope they stretch the combat out like the Entertainment District arc in Demon Slayer (maybe not quite that much but similar idea). The combination of elite animation and that arc's story beats will be something epic with how well they've kept to the manga. I heard someone saying that the animation team really wanted to stay true to Fujimoto's vision which shows.

Hype action and amazing animation. But god damn Mob really be slapping Dimple around like his bytch

Eminence fight was great. Yes we all knew how the result would be but it was entertaining AF.

Sword Isekai continues to be a very charming showing. Real nice action scene, followed up by some adorable Fran reactions after. Adaptation is getting a lot love here a lot of these faces could have been half assed but they going through with it.

This is amazing season for comedy since we got in no order:

1. Bocchi
2. Golden Kamuy
3. Eminence in Shadow
4. Mob
5. SxF
6. Urusei Remake.
