I've already finished the Chimera Ant arc and know about Hisoka. Dude's pedo antics are crazy. But Killua was jealous that Gon went on a date with Palm. At least Hisoka plays it cool, Killua is acting like he's coo coo for Gon's bussy like Cocoa Puffs.

Speaking of the Chimera Ant arc, I don't why so many people rave about this arc. I thought it was pretty bad and ran too long. I thought the Phantom Troup arc was much better and at this point is the peak of HxH so far.
Im in this camp as well... The 2 big fights were dope but that shyt drags like a mf

Had to read Blue Lock because I couldn't wait for the anime. Sorry, not sorry. :manny:

All they have to do is keep the animation tight, and it'll easily be the best team sports anime outside of Slam Dunk.

It’s like that :lupe: I’ll get to that sooner than my plan to watch list is big enough

To Your Eternity somehow lost all the hype it had in S1. Prob would say it is one of the underrated shows coming into next year. Fushi really feels like its own complete character. Meanwhile the plot isn't black vs white. There is a lot of grey area that the show has covered. Very interested where the series goes with the 2nd half of the season.

I always know it’s Bleach filler when they have these wack ass villains pop up, but I gotta say Ashido was kinda cool. I think he would have been a cool character in the series.

What most team sport animes suffer from is the fact that outside of the main character and their rival, the rest of the team is average-good, but their opponents are always good to main character level.

This leads to the supporting cast becoming less and less of a factor outside of lunch/pail hustle plays as the main teammates become better at the sport.

It's glaringly obvious in Kuroko, and gets bad in Haikyuu.

Sakuragi was surrounded by ballers in Slam Dunk, and Blue Lock is just filled with guys who were stars on their respective teams. While there are talent gaps, everyone is comparable to an extent.

So the supporting characters are able to still be relevant while not being at an obvious disadvantage compared to the MC/rivals/etc.

I've been saving most of the shows that were having new seasons to binge watch them once this season is over (started with the 2nd cour fo SpyXFamiliy this weekend). And even though I loved season 1, I have no rush for season 2 of Fushi and his adventures. I will catch up and watch it but the story isn't THAT good for me to be eager about a show that in it's first season made it a point to present dope characters just to break your heart at the end of each arc. I can take it with Made In Abyss because that shyt is a masterpiece but with TYE I'm in no rush to go in :mjcry: mode.

Catching up with Gundam Mercury. This is the first Gundam that I really don’t resonate with any of the characters. Im indifferent with the entire cast. Especially the protagonist.
