On one hand like i said before im not into the high school romance plots


On the other hand the world building is telling us all those kids are in some fukked up brainwashed dystopia (and being forced to stay kids by not sleeping, taking vaccines etc.) so seeing how they think is actually kind of interesting, like the whole arranged marriage shyt and how they handle it

They have hurricanes that last the entire month

That other chick "growing up" on a accident after falling asleep the fukk kind of drugs was the author on, the last 2 episodes just casually reveal all this wild shyt


I can ignore how corny the Santa Claus thing feels with all of these other things going on this plot getting darker as we go on im like 55% sure these "kids" are older than they look and are being farmed, might not even know their real ages



It's worth tapping back into if anyone dropped it off the initial impression of the first couple eps

Im a keep it a bean, the ost/art style is what made me give it a second chance, i caught myself humming that melody in the very beginning of episode 1 for weeks and said fukk it

I mean…. That can be fair…. But it hit hard.

Not everything needs to be that complex or complicated.

TBAH hit too many notes and at times felt unbalanced like they was trying to do too much ad it overloaded.

Weak to week at times it felt like you was wasnt even watching the same show

I guess you probably can break some of the eps down to ”mini arcs” and not all of them hit like that.

And I see how they tried to tie things back together in the end, but some of that shyt didn’t feel like it added up.

sometimes we just wanna see a dope ass whupping scene done well with all the bells and whistles.

It's like admiring a bad bytch from afar.
You don't care if she can cook, or if she has some childhood trauma, you just like the way the ass looks in them yoga pants.

I personally couldn't get into TBAH cuz of the animation, but then I enjoyed the new Berserk that everyone bytched about

Watched it. Once I finished today's episode I for sure thought it was an anime original because it felt like an idea that was too out there to be a serialized shonen manga

And yeah, the first two episode are a struggle to get through. Mainly because the Santa gimmick is by far the worst part of the show. Sure, it all connects to the theme of aging and being a child and a teen is/should be like but it's hard to figure out what the point of Sanda being some sort of reincarnation of Santa and him having to transform into him. Him being naked for the first 5 episodes made no cotdamn sense either

Agree with you that the world/setting of the series is fascinating and the thing that keeps me watching. I also like Sanda's character but he's stuck in the Santa/grown up fukkery so we barely get to see him as he truly is.

Been sleeping, but stumbled across Hells Paradise while browsing Netflix. Animation caught my eye, saw Mappa was behind it and I'm 4 episodes in so far.

Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha might not be the best show but when the main character gets to style on some smug b*stard antagonist it's a treat.

Seems no matter the genre, there's always a trip to the hot springs.

Isekai, Fantasy, Sci Fi, High School, Slice of Life, Comedy...

One of the things I enjoy about the genre tbh. That and there always seems to be a festival popping off.

Finished S1 of Hell's Paradise and looked up to see that S2 is coming early next year . One of the quickest times I went through an anime series, although there were only 13 episodes. JJK, Fire Force, Bleach TYBW, and this returning have me set for next year.
