Yeah, Mayuri is the head scientist and Captain with the black and white face with gold teeth. You're going to put some respect on his name before it's all over with.

Oh and that Captain who's always got his eyes closed is Gin.

How you feeling about Kenpachi?
That scientist dude is cool? He seems like a villain type dude.

I like Kenpachi. You know Yakuza? That nikka remind me of Majima.

And that one blind breh remind me of Stevie Wonder. He gotta be based on him.

Am I the only one who thinks that?

I can honestly say that I have never compared Tousen to Stevie Wonder. Didn't even occur to me. :mjlol:

As far as Mayuri (Scientist), he's good money to me but being cool doesn't necessarily equate to being a good guy. Honestly, breh is a whole villain but he's technically apart of the Gotei 13 so he's not. I appreciate his ruthlessness and more interesting take on a Captain.

Just finished Made in Abyss.

It’s a dark, sad, weird, creepy show, but man is it good. The music is phenomenal as well.

:mjcry::mjcry:

Tbh with the amount of hype CSM got it really hasn't lived up to it. Don't get me wrong its entertaining as hell with Power and Denji. If I'm taking the show seriously, Aki and Makima are the only ones that interests me. Just feels like by the time the plot kicks in, this season will be over. Just feels like manga readers who love where the series is at currently in the manga, even tho the anime may not reach that point were it comes to satisfying that level of hype.

As much as I hated MHA last season, they got it rolling right now. As far action and plot goes it has been much better imo. I just hope this arc doesn't get resolved too fast. I know MHA praise is rare around, but gotta say MHA has been much better then CSM in terms of just the anime so far this season only.

chainsaw man is still in prologue mode to be fair

it really doesn't hit the ground running like the trailers would have you believe. there's action and stuff sure, but like.... nothing with weight is really there either.

i don't like comparing to Attack on Titan at all because AoT did a much better job setting the table even before shyt hit the fan, but its kinda the same issue where some people needed to see the narrative and the world tie together before being invested or drawn in.

Yea that is more then fair. It feels like CSM has close to AoT S4 Pt 1 hype and it is just debuting. I guess the big thing is where it ends off at since it is only 13 episodes unlike MHA, JJK and Demon Slayer which all had like 25 episodes in their premiere seasons.
