Is the manga finished?
CSM actually exceeded the hype in every for me. Loved this season.
Is Spy x Family really that good? I got maybe 4 episodes in and put it on the back burner.

part 1 is finished, im guessing that'll be like the end of season 3-4 of the anime depending on if they keep the seasons this same length or not
part 2 started this year,
After Makima finally gives him a piece, this fool is going to be broken. Blowing up her work phone with On the Hotline playing in the background.

This is coming from someone who hasn't read the source material, but that CSM finale was a letdown tbh. Since it was mappa, I expected the fights to be better, more dynamic and drawn out. The animation when they're standing on top of the moving train was dope, but then it ended shortly with just a few more moves once they got inside. Compare this with the major fight scenes mappa did with JJK or AOT, it was disappointing.
Dope series though.

Csm I enjoyed but didn’t live up hype for me for this simple reason and most anime that have hype fall into this
12 episodes isn’t enough if it’s gonna be a slow burn or the meat of it to meet those expectations is way later half of the cour.
This seemed more like a introduction to the world and what’s bout to happen which is fine
I enjoyed it a lot tho but the hype wasn’t there for me I do think it can live up too it as it progresses of course which I’m gonna read bout this next ain’t waiting for a s2 god knows when that’s gonna happen
Spy x family is same thing for me but the episode count isn’t the issue just not all that too me in that kinda tier but a really enjoyable series nonetheless

SxF is gonna be that one show where you can also fall back on. Since rather then being a battle shounen it is a shonen SoL comedy. While plot is obviously slow writing and characters are great. Only issue is those who thing it is primary gonna be a Spy action show. But besides that you know what you gonna get with it. Not to mention the adaptation is amazing.
CSM's issue is that it was only 1 cour. If it was 2 cours we still have 12 more episodes. Instead it took like 75% of the episodes to get to the turning point. CSM story being so unconventional makes it more interesting to read compared to Demon Slayer where I have 0 interest in touching the manga because of the god tier animation it gets.

Does Jujutsu Kaisen get better? Im on chapter 40 of the manga and till now this seems generic and shallow as hell

Besides those 2. There’s Danmachi but it doesn’t really pickup till S3. But S4 overall so far has been fantastic so far. Also for a more chill show Bofuri is great, but again it is a more relaxing chill show.
Misfit Demon Academy and In/Spectre can be hit or miss. Misfit is super entertaining tho similiar to Shadow in Eminence its not great in plot. Meanwhile In / Spectre is the opposite. The world building and everything surrounding it is super interesting. But here there are times where there is too much dialogue. It feels padded in dialogue basically. Honestly it might be a better series to read then watch. That's all for sequels.
Spy Classroom is the big new ln adaptation. Haven't read it yet so the ln brehs @twan83 and @Black_Panther_JS might know more on that. If you played NieR automata, the NieR anime looks really good on previews. Looks it might be the 2nd great game adaptation coming after Cyberpunk.
There is a good amount of rom-coms. Ice man and his cool female colleague is the one that appears the most interesting to me right now with it being Josei and with an adult cast. Tomo-chan, Kubo-san, Nagataro and Angel Next Door are the other rom-coms, but those feel like stuff we have had in animes before. I guess Tomo-chan has the main girl being a literal tomboy so I guess that's different.
Buddy Daddies is the one original I am the most excited for. It looks to be influcined by SxF in a different way tho. PaWorks is the studio behind it and their last 2 animes were Akiba Maid War and Kongming which were both great. Buddy Daddies
Seems to be a solid season imo. Since you also have Blue Lock, Shadow in Eminence, Urusei Yatsura, MHA, Iruma, & TYE all continuing.

You know I thought that with some of these more over the top ecchi shows (redo of healer, harem in labyrinth, world's end harem) I figured that it would be filled with unknown voice actors or less popular ones but looking at the work they do they doing big shyt like my hero academia (all might) and (endeavor playing a male rapist pedophile

Spy Classroom is a cute girl show but with a male lead and it's not a romance harem show. This guy takes all these washout girls from different spy schools and assembles a team of lovable losers. He brings them to a mansion to train them to do a mission considered impossible. He's considered the greatest spy alive and he behaves like he's borderline on the spectrum. He tells the girls come at me for real with intent to kill and that's your training. The girls do dangerous stuff that could borderline kill a normal person trying to defeat him. Also all the girls have a specialty. An example is one works with animals, one is a genius inventor ect.
