Gundam Pt 1 Finale is up on Crunchyroll

Man if Mob didn't air this season this would have been my AOTS. Lots of love when into this project. Anime is great when you can tell lots of love got into these projects.

The action, trauma and seeds of mistrust. :wow: :damn:

Guel killing his father. Man even if it was for his own survival. That shyt is something that is gonna haunt him for the rest of his life. Feel bad for him tbh :mjcry:

Also Nika damn. She is def innocent from what we know. But damn those seeds of mistrust is sprinkling in.

Suletta's mom continues to be manipulative af. But she has a point that those dudes would have killed Suletta. Also I get why Miroine got traumatized, but both her and father would have died. The princess seeing someone splattered before her eyes is def something she hasn't seen before.

Suletta is still weird to me either she gets really nervious or she is extremely calm. Like there is rarely anything in between. Still think something about her is sus. :patrice:
It’s a two parter?

Urusei Yatsura is pretty funny. You can tell it’s a romcom from a different era. It’s like what if To Love Ru was more innocent.

The Gundam first half finale was pretty disappointing to me. Will watch the second part but hype levels are at an all time low. I don't think this series will be better than average.

That final scene though totally reminded me of

See, I could never place this as AOTS because the pacing was verging on horrible but as far as this finale? They executed everything in this episode to perfection, I'm not even going to deduct points for the cliche Jeturk death because it added yet another layer to his evolution.

I will agree that it's obvious that this was definitely a passion project and they've been faithful to even the smaller details. Unfortunately that caused issues in other vital areas but I'm hopeful for the 2nd part with most of that out of the way.
Gundam really went out with a bang. The fights the score EVERYTHING was on point. :wow: Non stop space battles gawddamn

Now we have to wait until april for part 2 :why::sadbron::damn:
They did what I said they probably would, nailing the landing with a great episode after limping through the middle. If anyone skipped the end scenes after the credits, they missed out. :wow:

Oh yea I agree with your evaluation if we only looking at part one as its own thing since they basically setup and develop the cast, but the actual plot itself didn't do much.

My point of view looking at part one and two as a complete package. This episode and the prologue is what I expect in part two. Like you said everything they setup in the previous episodes paid off here. I highly expect much more action and plot in part two. Obviously if part two flounders so does my opinion of part one cause all this setting up is great, but if it aint executed well then its just becomes disappointing.

shyt I'm actually looking forward to Gundam Part Two more then Demon Slayer and Dr. Stone. Which is saying a lot of cause at least the anime of those two have been crazy high quality so far.
