So basically, if we assume who Kobato talked to was the driver from back then. What happened to her little brother in the present? But yeah, it was clearly revenge once she recognized him. Still feels like we are missing a significant piece. Also, given the one arrested was 21 years old, I doubt that was the driver that Kobato was talking to.
Was the incident staged? I feel like it had to be given that no way would a sibling run off after their brother got hit. Why did brother and sister want to hide it, though? Now what leaves Eiko's motivation?I love how behind the scenes that Osanai was playing detective. I think, as Osanai points out, Eiko has two options. Kill or stall. It's clearly the former what she is doing. I don't think she has it in her to kill him. Granted, the cliffhanger leaves me in angst.
