Honestly, us now getting the same-day release as Japan for Demon Slayer movies is a big L. I mean, I understand we get a delay, but Demon Slayer is the biggest anime in the world right now. You have to spend that money and resources. Kaiju is fine, like you said, but starting where S2 starts is where the author really aggravated the fan base. Some garbage pacing for a biweekly series
. The one series where waiting for the anime was optimal.Kagurabachi will probably be huge and potentially on par with JJK in terms of hype and popularity if they get the right studio.
CSM movie waiting isn't a big deal, honestly, since S1 kind of flopped, and it's mostly manga readers who are hyped for it.

The big war of S3 just ended and it was fire…..
them 7 days of hell was intense…
The Coalition Arc is one of the best arcs in manga/anime history.

I mean, anime-wise it's difficult to get into the series because how awful the series is visually. It really speaks to how great the story is in S1 & S2 that people can watch how awful it is visually. S1 is fully bad CGI. At least S2 is bearable.
But from what I understand, Kingdom anime is like OG Bleach, where it is censored compared to the manga. At least TYBW didn't have that against them.

Fun episode to see how Evil Eye is mentally a child
I love how we see Okarun's training pays off, but also how he deals with Evil Eye. It's clear Evil Eye is still stronger than Okarun, but Okarun truly beat him in terms of mental strength. As Okarun mentions, Evil Eye is closer to a kid. You can see it when Evil Eye succumbs to Okarun's demands as well as how Momo has to deal with when Jiji transforms into him at school.

The manga sold well enough and is big in japan.
Though it feels like the hype of this series has died compared to S1, I don't see anyone talking about it. Even shounen heads. They're more interested in Dandadan & Gachiakuta this season.
But yeah, it's the definition of generic Shounen.
The protagonist being older doesn't even mean much now, which was a selling point in the series. Tbh probably just there to bring in older fans.
Yeah I like Kaiju no 8 bc it was an oldhead who just had to get a regular job but ended up in his dream gig as a premise.
It was a cool show in general. Typical shonen
Now they doubled down, a new strongest guy rival the og strongest guy, the mentor taken away too soon, a bunch of new characters who are essentially worthless but have cool designs

The Water Magician - Episode 8
Honestly, animation has been slowly getting worse. Still mostly average now. Which is fine since the story has superb worldbuilding and buildup. I just feel like the payoff won't be earned until future seasons.
As expected, Natalie was the one to reach out to Ryou. I was hoping there would be a stronger connection made between the two. Still, one thing that seems clear is the topic of Demon Princes & Demon Lords. Leonare calls herself an akuma, which means "devil" or "demon" in Japanese. So the real question here is what is Leonare? Also, the sacred jewel that she finds is similar to the broken one that they notice in the dungeon Ryou is in. Could that be the cause of the incident?
Getting additional information regarding Sera. She has a long-term contract as a swordsman instructor for Margrave Lune's knights. Is that part of the knights that was picking on that girl from a few episodes ago? Though it makes sense why she isn't seen in the guild too much. These two really have great chemistry, as they can talk about magic and its application for days.
It looks like the focus is back on Ryou fully now as he continues to travel with the request from the guildmaster.

They finished adapting chapter 82 and adapted chapters 83-86.
As the main comment here mentions, despite cutting most of Lira's content, they still had her one portion where the detective helps her with the creep, which is just weird. The main changes in the anime are.

- Akira is the one hanging out with Ko instead of Lira.
- Midori picks out the costumes for Ko and Akira, whereas in the anime, Lira picks out the outfit for Ko in the manga.
- One minor change is that the meeting on the roof is just in the anime, while in the manga they were still on the ground. It makes more sense being at a more hidden location.
