they aren't gonna let this show finish when it's supposed to, im expecting demon slayer/AoT levels of procrastination and movies, hope that doesn't make it fall off

they gonna use this nikkas budget to fund all the other korean manwhas since everyone likes disrespecting their content :mjlol: the beginning after the end gonna look like a movie all of a sudden

I think there was a leak where the roadmap was for 5 seasons + the last portion to be a movie. Now the wait time between each season is definitely going to be 2 years.

Hopefully they also at least invest in Orv, since from what I heard from many people, it's a top-tier series with great storytelling. It sucks that Korean animators are sticking with being freelance guys. If they set up a studio together, they could really focus on making great content for their series.

X is only behind Gojo in the busted character rankings rn :unimpressed: one scene was enough evidence

aint shyt aizen/light yagami/goku/madara doing against him 1v1 when he can make everyone else 3d except them

only reason Gojo stands a chance is cuz he can hit his domain expansion in .2 seconds, but if he's too far way he dies violently, X has infinite range his ability is flipping the entire city's dimensions

Regarding Kijin Gentōshō - Episode 21

Ignoring the production quality to mention the contents of the episode itself, I thought it was great. Sadly, the unacceptable production visuals are affecting enjoyment. The actual storytelling was 10/10, like many of the episodes before.

Tsuchiura's whole backstory is a reminder that the real demons may be humans at times. You can understand why he felt betrayed, which led to him killing her. But the moment he looked at her dying eyes, he realized he was wrong and he loved her. Then her parents mention how their family was forced to do that, which makes the feeling even worse. Sadly, the fight, which could have a big impact, was a mess due to how low-budget it is. As Jinya embraces his weakness, should make it one of the biggest moments from this season.

It's difficult to make sense of the Yasuhide scene where Jinya kills him. Basically his death would do more than him being alive, if I understand correctly. Though it does feel more of an ideal for himself for defending the shogunate.

Jinya should know better than leaving without Nomari. But sad that Jinya & Ofuu going their separate ways. Jinya with rumors spreading of being demon would need to leave. Though I understand Ofuu not wanting to be dependent on Jinya. It’s sad she is alone but I am happy she has the resolve to push forward. Her time with her adoptive father & Jinya will push her forward I believe.

I recognize Natsu before the focus shifted to her. Given the timeskip where Nomari has grown it’s to be expected the same for Natsu. She has mellowed down and seems to be partnered to Zenjji. I am happy she recognized Jinya and now she realizes what she did to push him away. I do hope both Natsu & Ofuu meet Jinya again.

Caught up with The Water Magician. I saw @tripleaamin post about it and decided to give it a watch.

I'm enjoying it. There's a whole bunch of these shows where the MC don't know how strong they are, and this one is pretty similar and have the usual tropes, but the MC and main characters are likeable and not annoying.

The way the MC uses his water magic is also well done.

Man my rewatch or continuation and catching up of Kingdom has been great.

I really have to put this show a little higher on whatever respect and rankings.

The story is great and so well told… even if all the naming conventions of characters, cities, and factions get a little confusing…. Everything else is done really well

Well, Ryou is a bit different from those. Most of the other isekais and fantasy series have these MCs who are massively overpowered, and they continue to ignore their strength. The worst is when they say they are average or weak. Ryou doesn't deny his strength, but for him, he doesn't understand the norms of this world.

Also, to add, the main supporting characters feel like established characters. In shows like Shield Hero, you see the supporting cast, and everything is there to prop up the protagonist, and it's annoying. Not to mention when they are written like idiots.

The show is really a slow burn, but in a good way, with some nice world-building.

He knows how strong he is. He just hadn't been exposed to others before he reached the city so he had nothing to compare to until then.
