eh. I watched s1. It’s decent and better than the average Isekai (which is kind of low standards) but not really worth it.

Finished Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant!, and honestly, this was very mediocre. It had a good idea of Dennis, Vivia, and the 3 girls coming together as outcasts and finding their place. But beyond that, storytelling was idiotic. Basically it wanted to be both a comfort watch and dark, but it was not good at either. It being decent at the former sometimes.
Would rate it 5/10.

Klen is thinking, what is the point? But then he sees Luna walking towards him, symbolizing he is choosing his path even at a young age. Meanwhile, I love Alicia embracing the idea of being a fake hero. The point of this whole season is don't let the definition of others define what a hero is. A hero isn't just someone who saves the world or defeats the final boss. They are also there to help people in need, like Nell.
Of course Alicia could never defeat Drel. Instead of trying to go for the kill, she went for an achievable target, and that is her sword. As breaking regalia is a big deal. What this really showed was how merciless Vordin was. I assume without the regalia things would have been much harder for what Vordin wanted to achieve. So he killed Drel for that failure. Considering that Klen can be cruel himself, that feels like nothing compared to Vordin. Basically, Alicia beat Drel because Klen is a more forgiving master than Vordin.
This anime has been countlessly brutal, but the scene of Luna walking to his mother's arms was such a beautiful scene. Also, Anzetta is simply a beautiful, kind woman. Nell acting how she did makes sense, but Anzetta only cared that her son is alive and well now. She looks to be a great ally to have to come.
Of course Vordin will not be lying around. But what are his main goals? He mentions the awakening of Toah? More than likely it is connected to the book, but it is clear that there must be multiple books. More than likely, finding these various books will be what leads to some answers and perhaps more questions.
So Klen's deciding to be Luna's magic teacher is quite interesting considering he is just learning about magic. Though I assume he plans to learn more about magic, and then when Luna grows older, he can teach him more.

Tbh the premise sounds weird, but it's a decent journey about how being alone and having companionship can help a person. Now I don't think it's anything special and definitely not up your alley, but it's still decent.

Now there are other shyts that are beyond worse. You got those disgusting romance fetish anime where the MC is reincarnated as an animal. Or Nukitashi which, from what I looked up, is a parody of a fap game.
. Not to mention the majority of isekai and RomComs are beyond garbage. Like storytelling is nonsensical.I think he was talking this past season. There was a lot of action. Though outside of Hero X, Dandadan & Clevatess so many of these action shows are hella generic.

From what I saw the webtoon is translated in english, but not the manga. I prob stick with being anime-only. Hopefully they give S2 time to cook.

But Jesus, the execution was trash. I guess the Mc was better than you see in most of these types of series, but that's the only real nonnegative remark I can think of for it.

My man Kinta bossed up this episode. Science Saru just having fun animating this series. But man, every ending to both seasons is just suffering for Momo. Loved the callback to episode 1 from S1.

Water Magician is weird. Idk something with the pacing just feels off and slow 
Regarding Oscar's backstory, I assume they wanted to time it with him losing his shyt in seeing Fiona potentially dead. I do the criticism regarding that we only have 1 episode left. With that being said, I feel bad for him and can see why he turned cold.
It is clear that the next episode is going to have Ryou show up to defend his friends from Oscar. Granted, I do think Oscar should immediately attack those 3, but hey, misunderstandings.
