Trash.So whats the verdict on Lazarus? I remember it was hyped up. IIRC ppl in the thread didnt rock with the first couple episodes
Intro and music is amazing, very pretty show overall
But typical of adult swim, completely dropped the ball with the story, nothing made sense half the time, they were too busy aura farming with the animation
They also gave everyone a backstory episode except the sole black guy on the team
It's not as bad as Ninja Kamui but Lazarus definitely showed us Adult Swim cannot be trusted to produce anything worth a damn

its cool. I gave it about a 7. It took a while to get going, but once it did it was dope. Not Solo Leveling/Super Cube level of dope, but just solid dope.
You not missing out on anything special if you never watch it.

Summer Pockets first half of the season was very aggressive mid, but the 2nd half covering Shiroha & Umi's story was been fantastic. Hitting me in the feels

Wit remake will get people hyped, but One Piece has excessively many chapters at this point for any remake to catchup. Toei should have put a dedicated studio for the remake. Wit just has too many projects.

Yeah, I wanna check the WIT remake just off the strength of the studio's reputation and honestly, why the hell would they take that kind of project without a clear end goal in mind. Like, how will they end the season? I'm really curious.
Private Tutor never becomes amazing but they stopped at the beginning of the better part of its run. All hell breaks loose and the MC gets seperated from the harem.
The weakness of the series is the harem. It's clear Lydia is the best character in the series and the love interest but the MC just let's all those chicks bicker over him.
It gets better but is unlikely to get any continuation.

Sakamoto Days S1 wrapped up on Netflix today. I saw they announced the live action movie and I'm guessing the show will be back at some point, considering the preview at the end. Very solid anime that has continued to grow on me.

they don't need to rush a damn thing with the remake, wit can do that shyt at their own pace, i don't get the rush
is it gonna end right where the animation got clean in this current version or are they literally gonna remake the shyt we just seen today, again?starting a remake while the OG is still currently going on is messy business imo

One Piece is too big a commitment for Wit. They'll end up handing it off to another studio like Attack on Titan.what are you talking about

but honestly im not gonna watch that shyt, i got the OG right here and the animation is gonna be peak for the rest of the series
I don't care for remakes of series this long, a huge part of the investment for me is wanting to know what happens next, I'm already gonna know everything, if i wanna see good animation i can just watch sakuga MAD videos instead of sitting through that entire plot again
