I saw The Beginning After The End. The anime is garbage the books are good. Just because something is animated doesn't make it better. Anime has way more variables than simply existing. The series composer, the director, the character designer, the animation studio, the voice actors, the budget all these things can make or break an animated series. Books have way fewer variables to be quality.

Soooo just like I thought.....you haven't wrote a book or animated something before, yet you speak with the authority of one that has.

You're just dropping an unwanted opinion in a thread about ANIME.

I'm talking about the consumption of media as a consumer. I'm not talking about the creation of media as a consumer. There are plenty of books that are better than the adaptations created from them.

To say you are a creator and then act like different media doesn't have different advantages and one form isn't by default superior to the others is baffling.

I've read several books and went on to watch media created from them and was let down. Only someone completely devoid of imagination would suggest that anime is better than books by simply existing.

Running back OG Naruto because I was feeling nostalgic and there's not much to watch. First thought is damn they need to remaster this shyt lol. Orochimaru had the title for goat villain but they ruined it much later.

Ninja vs Gokudo had another great episode.

I love the lil backstories they give on the glass children any time they get murked. Today was great. I loved the Dreams don't come true speech Prima gave that lil girl on the plane. Sad part is that shyt is the truth. Great episode. Was really impressed today. Music selection killed it too.

Caught up with Sanda and the season finale @T-K-G

I felt it was a show that could never really find itself and strike the right balance between the action, the themes they wanted to tackle and teenage fukkery/drama. I still can't figure out why they thought Santa Claus was the way to go for such a complex topic like teenagers and aging., specially in such a weird and interesting setting as the one this series has. It's just a wack gimmick that never elevates any interaction or sequence, and most of the times it actually brings it down. I'm supposed to feel something over Ono and Fuyumura (and Sanda) at the end but I was bleh about it :manny:

The action ended up being by far the most engaging thing about it. Namatame being a whole ass demon was :dead: those gun fights sequences :whew:

I hope the team that animated this at Science Saru get their hands on a full on action anime because that shyt would be flames :feedme:

Wait this was the season finale?

It felt paced for a 24 ep season, if today was the endpoint yea this shyt is a bit too indecisive :francis:
It's kind if like Gachiakuta imo, they'll set up some interesting lore or world building and right when they get a chance to take things to the next level all the characters start spouting some super generic rant, i have no idea why authors keep creating ambitious worlds but the characters have flimsy motivations (this is why AoT gonna be top 5 for a long time, everyone was deadass about their goals)

This nikka really doing all of this just because he doesn't wanna be called old is lame as hell :mjlol: sane with Fuyu, if this is all that was gonna happen they could've just gotten us here in 6-7 episodes. Atleast you can end the season on a major plot bomb exposal or something.

Yup :francis:

No announcement of a 2nd cour or 2nd season in production. Unless the manga starts selling, this might be it for the anime :dead:

I still thinking about binging Gachiakuta. I got to episode 5, then kinda forgot about it and can't bring myself to see if the series turns it around or not.
