Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
-Black crowd
-Good job prospects
-Women
-Good COL
-Chill atmosphere with things to do.

Realistically speaking the only cities that can make a case for having all of these amenities while having a lot of black folks is Charlotte, Philly, Chicago, Houston, and Dallas.

But people who watch the news too much will be scared to move to Philly or Chicago so it looks like Charlotte, Houston and Dallas is the winner.

NYC, DC, LA, Miami, Oakland, New Orleans and even Atlanta (in the actual city) have COL issues.

Also I’m under the belief that black women look the same everywhere so that wouldn’t even be a realistic concern for me.

For me personally I’ve never visited an “affordable” city that I actually liked so the only place that excites me for being black outside of NYC and having fun is DC and Atlanta.

I haven’t been to Chicago since my teens and need to rediscover the city. But I’m sure outside of negative stuff it’s a dope place. Use to stay in Rogers Park back in the day.

Op mentioned COL and y’all in here talking about expensive ass DC, NYC, or Chicago where brehs making 6 gigs gotta have roommates to survive

:mjlol:

ATL is the best overall using a combination of those metrics you’re looking for OP. Everybody else just battling for second place.

ATL is not a cheap city and one of the most rent burdened cities in America.

It’s 2019 and you guys are still preaching this Myth?

ATL is only rent burden if u want to stay inside 285. Still cannot beat the home prices and rent in the burbs. Even inside the perimeter we’re not paying anywhere close to the 3k for rent a shytty studio like y’all do up north or out west. COL here is still cheap as hell compared to any of the major cities outside of Houston and Dallas, and we’re not really that much higher than them.

Do you know what rent burdened means?

People who pay 3K for a shytty studio
typically aren’t rent burdened. Neither are people who live in nice communities.

It’s usually the middle class, working class and poor people who have these issues.

None of what you’re saying means anything if Atlanta is considered one of the top 20 rent burdened cities in America. Clearly a good amount of the people living there is paying a lot of their income on rent.
