We need a dollar amount
What that bank account and whip looking like?
:pachaha:

Can I pm you some questions bro? Just a young bull tryna make it...:feedme:
anytime breh I love to put cats on. I'm like the defensive line coach, not in it for glory, I just wanna see y'all get stronger and better

this. there are still some cac politics in the trades too but it's different. it's definitely more merit based than office work tho.

if a breh is really skilled at his trade, he is going to eat no matter what because no one cares about that when you need to get the thing fixed by yesterday or you need to finish the job today.

in an office, it's harder to tell who are the people carrying the load, but in the trades it's very fukking obvious when someone isn't pulling their weight or doesn't know what they are doing. i knew a guy who could literally watch someone for 5 seconds and instantly know they were gonna be a problem:pachaha: he'd tap me on the shoulder and say look at this guy he's gonna fukking kill us. and then a few hours later we would figure out he'd fukked something up and we'd lose 2-3 hours fixing it. :mjlol:
:wow: rep

union plumbers make the money.

and like all things white guys try to monopolize all of that shyt. Plumbing, steelfitters, and carpenters especially.
fukk the union, now that's some politricks I can't fukk with. They get paid but not like a savvy lone wolf does.

for everyone asking what the pay is like or just wanting some more general info......

the hourly rate (gross) is good ($20-40) in almost all trades, but there are other factors in what you actually take home (net)

the most common path is to start out as an apprentice under someone else for a few years where the pay will be on the low end, and then go work for yourself and name your own price once you have the skillset to do the work on your own

things to consider:

do you already have a work truck or do you need to finance one? a new good work truck in my area is $25,000 which is around $400-$450 a month.

how much overhead is involved? how much are the tools? ive spent thousands of dollars on tools over the years.

how much are the supplies? generally you get a deposit from the customer to do the work, but this amount may not cover everything you need so you need at least some working capital behind you.

insurance and maintenance on the truck. if your truck doesn't run, you can't work period.

how much work is available? how difficult is it to find new customers?

how much do you wanna work? how fast can you work?

if you are truly motivated, 6 figures in any type of trade work is not unrealistic at all

just understand you will be need to advertise and weekends are not really "days off". most trades work Saturdays if not available for sunday calls as well

also important to note is that if you work for yourself, there won't be anyone there telling you to get it done. you set your own hours, sure, but deadlines are all on you.

meaning that this is for self-motivated people only, if you know you are a lazy fukk then stick to working in an office for someone else.:manny:

if you work for yourself in the trades and want to earn 6 figures, you need to hustle. u need to find the jobs, and compete with other guys and bid for contracts., etc.

if you are lucky enough to get in a union, then you won't have to work as hard, but you will have to take and pass tests with the city on building codes, and keep your licenses up to date, which is more red tape.

if you are like me and value time > money, then you won't make as much but you will have more free time. it's really all up to you. all i can think of for now. :eat:

What's the one thing thats more valuable than money tho?
YOUR freedom.
I can look at cac in his face everyday if I want to and say FUK YU CACca ass CAC OL RED FRECKLE FACE PINK ASS CAC and still walk off with his money
Marketing ain't shyt just gotta know when to hire someone that's better
Gotta spend money to make money, same as everywhere else, but that freedom :wow: play the game just like u would working downtown but without the rules n regulations. U get it breh, now let's put these youngins on, right direction
