No I said I think CRYSIS 1 has a drab color palette and boring artstyle. Its look is sharp and clean but the way everything looks is boring to me. I like that dark gritty look to KZ2.

I think Killzone 2 is pretty boring and grey compared to Crysis 1. it's really not a fair comparison since one is on a tropical island, and the other is in some urban wasteland. how far did you make it in Crysis 1?

Last part I got to in Crysis was this dense forest area where you walk up this little hill and those korean soldiers are shooting at some monster you can hear growling in the distance. It was a pain to get through that part though. Funny thing I can't even freaking play the game anymore it crashes once I load it up.

Like I said...I THINK the new killzone looks more impressive graphically without thinking about the on paper technical specs behind each game.
And yea..nobody is saying the Xbox 360 version looks close to the PC version in the video I posted....all I'm saying is people seem to overrate how far and away better PC games look. I've seen battlefield and crysis on a high end PC before so I DO know how they look outside of a YouTube stream.

Crysis 1 when it first dropped.....killzone 2....and that opening scene in the new killzone trailer made my jaw drop...for some reason crysis 3 didn't. .....only thing I can think of is art style and animations.

Even then.....and I don't know exactly what....but it seems like those crysis games are missing something even with the technical feat it is.....can't put my finger on it.

I got it working again now. I had to cut my crysis folder from my games folder and start the game up and it worked. Weird.

I don't know if I'll ever finish it. For some reason the controls feel weird with the Xbox controller and no I'm not using a mouse/Keyboard because I'm not at a desk. Also the mod I'm playing it on seems like the difficulty is extremely harder . I'm dying in like 3-5 shots.

well I didn't beat Crysis 1 yet so I may be wrong but I just didn't find it's artstyle very pleasing. The graphics and effects yes, especially with the extreme immersion mod but it just looked so sterile.
