At least they had a couple hits and a bit of sustained success. What do you think a lot of the early blog rappers are doing these days? When's the last time you heard about XV? Donnis? Laws? At a certain point, you'd assume they got a regular job like the rest of us

I think some rappers, active or not, are just living a normal life.
We tend to have a very polarized (and inadequate) view of what a rapper's existence/career should be : either a Drake/Jay-z type of celebrity or a bum.
