Scowling, talking that talk, taking and often missing horrible shots, winning rings early, be Bron's rival, be Bron's teammate :mjlol:. Consistently demonstrating it is okay I guess if you are in to that :ld:.

"Killer Instinct" - when a player you like demands the ball in the clutch and takes the final shot instead of passing.

"Selfish/Low BB IQ" - when a player you don't like does the exact same thing.

Be an inefficient chucker

you're correct....this "killer instinct" myth is basically based on chucking /hero-iso ball instead of making the right play, whether it be to shoot or pass, like true hero ball

You have to bite your jersey when resting or at the line in the clutch, you must always keep an intense face, after every big shot you hit you have to fist pump and stare down, when the media interviews you have to let them know how much of a badass you are, also very important never pass up a game winning shot even if you are doubled, even if you are struggling, even if you have little room to operate. It doesn't matter how many GW's you miss, the casuals will only watch highlights of your makes. It doesn't matter if you hurt your team bricking all 4Q or even game as long as you hit a tying shot or game winning shot.

This is how you get the reputation of a killer. Having the best elimination games of All-Time, having the most playoff GW's of All-Time, leading the league in 4Q scoring on ocassion, none of this matters.

:troll:

To have killer instinct, you have to be selfish and have tunnel vision at the end of games, take a lot of bad shots, don't pass out of double teams but instead decide to shoot fadeaway jump shots, NEVER pass to a teammate no matter how open they are, and make about three out of every twenty game winning shots you take.

Then, and only then, will you be considered to have killer instinct.

Kobe was one dimensional as fukk in the clutch but heroball is a much more celebrated storyline. People love that idea of seeing someone else go all in recklessly. That's why people love games like poker, who wants to be a millionaire, etc.

LeBron is a willing passer which meant either LeBron or a teammate is getting a good look.

Some of ya'all went all in. :lolbron:

U can't quantify it with just stats imo, killer instinct relies a lot on the eye test. Killer instinct is nothing more than supreme mental toughness, this applies across many things in life not just basketball.

U can see it in the eyes and the body language.....and I know what LeBron James looks like when he stops believing in himself. You can tell when LeBron is ready to quit, you can tell when you've taken his spirit to compete.

Yes LeBron has had his moments where he stepped up, but you're lying to yourself if you as a LeBron fan don't worry about his mental toughness at times. Especially at the end of big games.

Its not wrong, its skewed and biased.

Why cant you ever touch my posts when i mention his combined shooting percentages outside of 3 feet, which are 37% reg season and 35% postseason ?

Because being GOAT-tier in the paint and being great at the 3 is better than being slightly better in mid-range.

Who cares if Bron is unstoppable at getting to the rim? Only an idiot would neuter Lebron's Shaq-lite impact in the paint.

He dropped 62 points through 3 quarters then sat out the 4th. (Granted it was against a Western Conferencr opponent)

He was blowing out east teams and sitting out 4ths.

Lebron shoots a combined 35% from outside of 3 feet, in all playoffs, Finals included.

This is without a Shaq down in the paint clogging up the lane and with a bunch of 3 point specialists surrounding him and spacing the floor to allow him to barrel into the paint.

Theres a reason why Kobe used the mid range game so much, and it has to do with Shaq.

Lebron would not be able to win 3 rings with Shaq. He cant shoot.

Combined their free throw percentage would be around 65%

You idiots dont factor things like that, yall stay on the same, tired, biased narratives

Take the shots yourself instead of passing it off to your all-star team-mates

You remember when he dropped 25 straight to close out a game that ONE time, thats a killer instinct.

breh...the nikka isnt jordan or kobe....

he's more magic than the other 2....

let him be him....

youve seen the nikka comethru in the clutch

i dont know what else cats want to see?

Ehh a lot of that is just people filling in the blanks. A team like the Warriors can be bombing 3s from all over the gym and then once they miss five in a row, people say they're settling for jumpers and aren't attacking. All that actually changed was the results but people want to look more into it. With LeBron, people try to look for signs that he quit in every close game.
U just said a bunch of nothing.

I mean if the Bron stans wanna pretend like Bron's mental toughness isn't questionable at times then so be it.

Some of yall scrambling trying to quantify using stats but that doesn't put things into CONTEXT which is something I've found Bron stans to be specialists at.

Bron will go 110% when he's front running but as soon as doubt enters his mind that power level can drop as low as 30-40%. His mental is his weakness. Name another all time great player who can say a mental collapse cost them a ring? Yall know what we mean we say these things, as a Bron Stan no way can you not be aware of this.

the midrange
People hate what they can't conquer.

LeBron is clearly the best to ever do it and this new reality shakes people's CORE BELIEFS. People will defend their core beliefs at all cost no matter stupid it makes them look. :yeshrug:
