I love it here in Richmond. I like how the infastructure is being built in shokoe bottom and downtown just give it time. Do not and i repeat do not venture in or around the PJs tho and I really mean that shyt

Richmond is a good area of VA LOCATIONWIDE. U close to DC, Hampton Roads, Charlottesville, Williamsburg, etc. Plus its the capital and it does have a few good jobs there. But I hear NOVA is the best job wise tho.Moving to Richmond soon.

LOL brain fart there...but yeah Richmond hood areas are definitely not a place u wanna be stranded at. I drove thru Hull St 2 weeks ago when I went thru Richmond and that area near Jefferson Davis Hwy looks like it has never been fixed up.The projects my nikka. Va Beach has tons of shopping centers and strip malls...ur right about that. Newport News like Norfolk are working to redevelop some of the hood areas. Newport News/Yorktown area have a lot of development in the Patrick Henry Mall and northern Newport News area. Every store u can think of is in that area.went to a family reunion down there a few months back (va beach) and I was bored out of my mind, nothing but shopping centers, and strip malls through the whole city outside of the beach
drove an hour to Busch gardens which was also overrated.
drove through Newport News which I thought was 100% hood and they had some pretty nice areas.
Hampton doing the same thing also around the peninsula town center area.Va Beach has tons of shopping centers and strip malls...ur right about that. A lot of old warehouses and buildings are being remodeled into businesses, condos and apts. They're building a port on the river for a cruise ship where the Annabelle Lee was. I've been in Richmond for years shyt is definitely moving
Yeah Hampton is working hard to redevelop the Mercury Blvd area and the old coliseum mall area. I haven't been there in a while since I don't work on the peninsula anymore.Hampton doing the same thing also around the peninsula town center area.
