Channel surfing and found something that I really enjoyed.

Fighting, trash talking, live crowds going crazy, and women with big titties:ahh:

The rock is what really made it official for me. The dude was untouchable when it came to trash talking(catch phrases for days) and the people's elbows was simply electrifying.:wow:

Also watching wcw and the nwo.

Sting and Goldberg:blessed:

I caught on to wrestling quickly. Found out that family members of mines were watching too.:ehh:

Every monday night was :banderas:

My uncle was a big wrestling fan and when me and my cousins would go to his house he'd put on all the WWF VHS tapes to keep us all in one place.

then he'd be out in the cut getting high while we were occupied :lolbron:

he'd have us little kids in our feelings too... Hogan would be getting demolished in the ring and my uncle is screaming out "KILL HIM...DEATH TO HULKAMANIA!!! :pacspit: "

and us kids are like :mjcry: "fukk you unc...what do you know?" :sadbron:

Hogan always prevailed and we'd look at unc like :umad:

He'd act like we proved him wrong or some shyt but now as an adult i can see that he knew Hogan's match layout and knew all along Hogan would come back and win... Unc had us worked from the gate :russ:

Started watching in 96/97. I was in the 7th grade. One of my friends was a huge wrestling fan. We made a deal and he told me to give wrestling a chance & watch one episode of Monday Night Raw, and if I didn't like it, he wouldn't ask me to watch anymore. I watched that one episode, and have been watching ever since.

Shows my age but :yeshrug: Cartoon was lit on my block . Remember everyone having those stuffed wrestler toys too in my neighborhood. My pops had Wrestlemania 1&2 on the same Beta tape :wow:

Early 90s I took a break from it mostly because I didn't have cable from 1992-99. Had a geometry class where I sat with a group of friends that watched Monday night Raw religiously (1998-99) and would talk about everything that went down like a thread on here while we were doing in class assignments. I was like :ohhh: SmackDown started to come on the air then but it wasn't the same. Finally got cable at the end of 1999 where I followed each episode either live, tape recorded , or by download from late 1999 to summer of 2015 .

I'm trying to get back into it now but it's not as easy to follow it with the shot roster and the three hour show :ld:

Was a kid watching cartoons on a Saturday morning in 1991. After the cartoons went off I was flipping channels and flipped to WWF Superstars and saw Macho Man cutting a promo. I was like :dwillhuh: who is this crazy dude with the weird voice. Later on that day was flipping channels again and I saw Ric Flair on WCW Saturday Night cutting a promo. I was like :dwillhuh: why is this dude wearing a bath robe. Started watching off and on until I saw HitGOAT wrestling in 1992 and was hooked.

Stopped watching regularly in summer of 2001 during the start of the Invasion angle and had completely stopped after Wrestlemania 18. Would occasionally see a Raw and TNA in 2003, 2004, 2005 but never enough to keep me watching consistently. In 2011 when I was working a particular job one of my coworkers was talking about CM Punk's pipe bomb so I tuned in the following week and started watching again. I don't watch like I used to during the 90's and early 2000's. In those days I wasn't missing Raw or Smackdown. If I did I would tape it on my vcr. Now if I have to miss a Raw I don't even bother setting up the dvr.

I was gonna troll and say when I saw Bruno facing Rogers at the garden. But then I resonated with your post. I don't think I stated that early, but it was around that time. I'd say maybe 92, 93. Back when it was Bret, Shawn, yokozuna, luger all involved in their feuds and their popularity was growing. I remember those Saturday mornings when they would have a recap show and show like one match. Started watching raw or atleast what I could back then. Plus the ppv since we had the box.

Took a break around the same time, when the brand split started happening, but still used to go to a bar with a buddy from high school and his friend to watch occasional ppv. I remember watching the hair vs hair match and around the time when orton, cena, batista, lashley, and umaga were done if the main guys in the title picture. But I didn't get back into it until later. It wasn't punk that got me back but it was around that time.

I was over at a friend's house who I hadn't seen in a while and he was telling me how the rock had come back. This was before his match with cena. We used to watch matches together coming up at times. He wasn't as big a fan but would come over for occasional events. I remember all of us neighborhood guys in the group I was mostly hanging with at the time at my house when Sable had that hand painted bikini. I watched all thru attitude era, mnw, ecw, everything. So he tells me rock is back and I tune in the next night on raw for the first time in years. It just so happened to be the raw after summer slam when nash attacked punk and adr cashed in. So I missed the pipe bomb but got to see his run as champion and the start of the people era.

So now we get to today and I also feel the same about missing shows. I have the dvr setup to record anyways but I don't bother watching. And I got smackdown on Hulu but I mostly always delete it anyways. Only wrestling show I mostly watch is total divas cuz the wwe writers don't have control over those storylines.

family, mom was a diesel fan and sis was a HBK stan.

Moved to New Zealand in 2000 and they had no SD but 1 hour highlight show of Raw, we always got PPV's like 2 weeks late at 11pm at night for free. Then the cable provider got the rights so from 2002-05 i didnt watch at all. But fully watch from 08 till now, cant really say now. Havent watch a full raw in a long time

It was around 95-96.

I already had an interest in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, and Street Fighter II, so it was only natural that once I caught a glimpse of two people fighting on TV that I would gravitate towards it. I actually wore a Randy Savage costume for my kindergarten Halloween party, so I must have been 5 or 6.

So it was only natural that seeing "real life" fighting would appeal to me.

After doing some Googling I found the earliest segment that I could remember.
I remember being legit :merchant: when Vader attacked Monsoon on that one episode of Raw. "I just couldn't wrap my head around the idea that someone would attack a non-wrestler, who happened to be the President of The WWE.
