My uncle was a big wrestling fan and when me and my cousins would go to his house he'd put on all the WWF VHS tapes to keep us all in one place.

then he'd be out in the cut getting high while we were occupied :lolbron:

he'd have us little kids in our feelings too... Hogan would be getting demolished in the ring and my uncle is screaming out "KILL HIM...DEATH TO HULKAMANIA!!! :pacspit: "

and us kids are like :mjcry: "fukk you unc...what do you know?" :sadbron:

Hogan always prevailed and we'd look at unc like :umad:

He'd act like we proved him wrong or some shyt but now as an adult i can see that he knew Hogan's match layout and knew all along Hogan would come back and win... Unc had us worked from the gate :russ:
:russ: i do the same thing to my 6 year old nephew when john cena is on

As a kid at first I thought it was lame, but towards the end of the Attitude era when The Rock was at peak popularity I decided to tune in to Smackdown one night with an open mind, and the rest was history

Before that I remember we went to Busch Gardens for my birthday, and at the hotel my cousin put on ECW and told me it was "real" :dead:

Thought it was cool as a kid, got older and thought it was lame around the time Cena practically took over, and only really came back because of this forum about a year or 2 ago.

A lot of these look nicer than the ones they have out now.

Did these joints have anything on the back of them? If not, that seals it, 80's shirts > Current.

As a kid in the 80s :flabbynsick:, I'd watch cartoons Saturday morning and was flipping through channels and saw Superstars I think. One of those old WWF shows anyways. I was :whoo: thinking it was real of course and was hooked ever since (I think they were recapping Macho Man winning the WM4 tournament).

When I moved to Amsterdam as a wee 7 year old lad, Eurosport used to broadcast a wreslting show . I think it was Superstars . Pnce I saw that freak of nature Ultimate Warrior , I was sold .

I remember a pretty big gap of no wrestling. Then TNN got WCW Nitro . Just in time to catch Goldberg's Streak and Sting putting the fear in the NWO.
It's then when I started my huge VHS collecting binge . Any WWF PVV had to be mine . And since wrestling has no interest in The Netherlands, I had to sometimes wait 4 months for the new PPV's. Around this time is when I heard about this ECW fed , that's was supposed to be a fukking gorefest.

Dipped out of wrestling when the Invasion angle ended . Biggest dissapointment of my wrestling watching career. But I always bought Wrestlemania every year . Seeing APA Bradsaw as JBL with the belt for the first time, really fukked my mind up.

Then picked it up again when Brock returned and fukking dismantled Cena at Extreme Rules. That was brutal as all hell . So nowadays I watch the PVV's and sleep trough Raw .

Going to my second WWF show next week. Can't wait to boo Roman out of the Ziggo Dome .

Saw some tapes of Bret and Shawn back in 92 and 93. Went to the 94 rumble in providence and was hooked, especially after the taker casket match and the start of the Bret/Owen rivalry

I’d say I got into wrestling back in 91 after going to a few WWF/NWA house shows with my cousin. And then I later started watching WWF Superstars every Saturday morning after cartoons went off.
