All of those programs help poor people. Poverty isn’t exclusive to black people, but there are issues exclusive to black people in addition to poverty. If there can be programs that problems in specific ethnic groups like Native Americans, Japanese, Jews, etc. why do we only get lumped in with “minorities” when it’s time for our programs?

Go look up the Great Depression and the New Deal. We were fighting another 60 years after legislation that was supposed to help us all without specifiying us.

What are you saying about the new deal? We would have been better off without it? Would a new deal for blacks and only blacks have been achievable in 1933 and post world war 2?

It’s the progressives that are fighting for universal health care like Canada so I’m not sure how this proves your point. It’s the gop that wants the status quo of of health care NOT being a basic right.




You can only do so much with local politics. The GOP has held most of the power in state and federal politics, not to mention judicially. They have thwarted a lot of the progress that people have tried to make locally. Look at St Louis, Atlanta, Miami, etc as case studies for this.



As far as Clinton goes you’re right, he fukked up with the crime bills. But to be fair, ALOT of black community leaders were also lobbying him and selling those bills. In hindsight this was definitely a mistake.

As far as Obama, one of the very first things he did as President was change minimum sentence guidelines. He also moved to permanently shutter all federal private prisons. He also granted clemency to more non violent drug offenders THAN ALL PREVIOUS PRESIDENTS COMBINED



How are programs like free lunch programs for kids, CHIP, Medicaid, Medicaid and social security responsible for the break down of our family units?



As I asked before, what things do you want done for blacks and only blacks that is achievable politically?

Why did our family units break down with the introduction of social programs and integration? Examine that and you'll have your answers.

Im all for universal health care.... But right now the companies that fund politicians get paid off medicare and Medicaid... Its a money racket, and if it wasn't they wouldnt support it. The health of black Americans don't improve and we still have substandard health care in urban communities.... The non low income program hosptials are Much better...

Both parties are responsible for the white supremist justice system and both uphold it , is the point.

Black Americans should be exempt from income taxes and property taxes.
And ive said....'Black' policies would be social programs Only for us, that other groups can Not take advantage of.

What’s the cause of segration and failing schools? I blame the GOP who has actively fought for the demise of public schooling.
