I disagree. Poor healthcare, education, criminal justice reform, etc. disproportionately affects us more than other people. So in improving those for everyone, doing so would benefit us more than it would anyone else.

Don’t hate on Ayanna, she actually goes hard for black folks in Boston. Seen with my own eyes. She speaks on inequality for black folks in the city of Boston and got tangible results.

Voting does matter and so does participation. The problem is brothers like Gillum and the sister Abrams didn’t get enough votes due to strategic voter suppression and suspension of voting rights.

Let the elected know your displeasure with their agenda. Organize people to get your points across to these officials. If you aren’t seen and heard nothing will change.

Voting is the bare minimum of civic participation.

1. Health Care

3. Criminal Justice Reform
4. Strengthening the funding of our social programs.

I think this is a false equivalency. It’s not like the issues that the Dems are fighting for in regards to immigration and gay people are issues that all people face and the solutions to these issues can only apply to gays and immigrants. The issues of immigration and gay rights also apply to black immigrants and black gays as well. Should black immigrant children or any child seeking asylum be separated from their families at the border? Should a black gay couple not be able to legally marry if they choose to to reap benefits like inheritance in case someone dies? Why are you guys so up in arms about the Dems addressing issues like gay marriage and what’s going on with refugees at the border especially when they are clearly fighting for what’s right?

How is gays being allowed to get married helping me? How is Mexicans being allowed to come here helping me? Sounds specific to me. Yet the things that effect black people have to be passed through generalities lmao

1) health care is some basic human rights shyt... If the dems and gop politicians werent in the pocket of big health companies we'd have systems like Canada and other nations- except better because we're a more wealthy nation. (Ntm.... Our social status that is being Ignored by Dems we vote for is Why we Need More health care than most groups)

2) liberal have failed at this public school shyt, lol.... Look at cities that have voted dem the last 40 yrs. Look at major cities and concentrated liberal areas.

3) clinton.... Crime bills. And most politicans are in private prisons pocket. And Obama gave over 100 gay rights speeches... Very few on prison reform.

4) The damn social programs are partially responsible for the break down of our family units- which affects our social economic statues. Ntm, other groups EVERY time benifit more than us on social programs.


And beyond all that.... Why do these people think its okay that gays, immigrants, etc get specific bills but blacks are expected to just use whatever scraps are left over?
