that's always been Jay... low key. :mjpls:

if you really listen to reasonable doubt, you'll see his forethought was a decade beyond.

the jay you see has always been. not much of a radical change with the exception of the reported net worth. that's why I didn't include him.

First person I thought of was Kanye, but then again, he is broke.

right. his financial reach and brand impact across platforms seems suspect. reportedly. :mjpls:

Dre

2Chainz should be on that list tho

2chainz income and brand reach pales his peers who have had greater reinventions.

@Feed-Me
And Rozay's persona of overweight party guy rapper who worked as a CO(which wasn't widely known at the time so we can't consider that) and going to full fledged drug kingpin is minuscule on a broader scale. Rapper reinvent themselves like that all the time.

Wayne went from being a Hot Boy to drugged out lyricist

I was thinking about weezy too. he has reinvented himself a few times and spawned several dependents he could claim on his taxes.

it's just now with his financial woes and seemingly downhill trajectory and lack of sustaining a really strong brand presence, I can't include him in the top tier or rap reinventions.

@JuvenileHell

Drake isn't a bad one but when he came in the RAP game he was who he is.
