I absolutely love this thread. Because it blows everybody's skirt up.

Now you're exposed.

And nothing more really needs to be said

Name 3 rappers who had a better 4 album run than

Paid in Full
Follow the Leader
Let the Rhythm Hit Em
Don’t Sweat the Technique

See this the problem.. all the others listed deeper than 4 albums. Yall give Ra the easy way out with less material. Again, no to Rakim

Nas has 4 classics in my book (Illmatic, IWW, Lost Tapes & Stillmatic) and 3 near classics (I Am, God's Son and Life is Good). His longevity gives him the edge over almost everyone and his highs (IWW and Illmatic) are 10 top albums in hip hop history.

However, I'd say these guys have the edge over him:

Jay Z - 5 classics (Reasonable Doubt, Blueprint, Black Album, WTT and American Gangster) and 3 near classics (Vol 1, Vol 2 & 4:44)
Outkast - 5 classics (SPCM, ATLiens, Aquemini, Stankonia and Speakerboxx if you count it as a solo album)
2pac - best 3 album run ever in hip hop (MATW, AEOM & 7 Day Theory) and his first two posthumous albums and classics if you count them

Watch The Throne
American Gangster

are not classics.. good albums that’s it.

outkast has 2 classics

For me personally, Nas has the GOAT discography, but I just enjoy his music.

I can't be mad at anybody arguing for Jay, or Pac, or Scarface, who would be in that conversation anyway. Ice Cube, Rick Ross, Cam (if you include all of the Dipset stuff as part of his discography), Kanye, LL, I can see arguments for all of these guys I guess.

nobody is still listening to those four albums  Nas albums are talked about on here weekly. 20-25 year old albums are still getting discussed daily. Nobody cares about Outkast.

No one.

Nas's unreleased shyt eclipses everyone.
Jay is the only one that's close.
