Bone way bigger and more known than Wu Tang.. Wu Tang some forum popular shyt.. Its like saying J Cole needs to get on the level of Big Sean.. you see Big Sean every where but J Cole sells way more.. would you say J Cole needs to get on Big sean level? :heh: Never

J cole, like Bone, just dont really need/want to be in the spot light like that but they have dedicated fan bases

Does he really? :patrice:

I think we forget how big Bone was. They had two albums top Billboard's chart. Not just rap, but the whole chart and another that was #5. Wu Tang had one hit that mark. Bone won a lot of awards too. If anything in '95/'96/'97 they and Tupac were pretty much the biggest artists in rap at the time. I hadn't even thought about it until I was watching their Unsung. Then I was like damn, these dudes were like the Spinners of the golden era.
Now you talking reckless. Bone Thugs were more successful then Biggie? :dahell:

No I'm talking about mainstream media (i.e not "Hip Hop media") in France talking about the Wu. Did you really call Illmatic and OB4CL failures tho:francis:
And their talking points are generated from east coast media brainwashing over the last 20+ years.

False

If sales = fans that listen to your music

How could more ppl listen to wu tang if they have less sales?
Why does it matter to you? :dwillhuh:

You talk down on black people in a predominantly black forum, and you've also said some racist shyt towards us. Go listen to lil rob and stay the fukk off our site you typical culture vulture Mexican, always stealing our slang and listening to our music but talk down on us :scust:.

Your asking to many questions that fall under the same category entertainment
When was the last time I heard a bone thugs song in a movie?
straight outta Compton
which did numbers in the box office

Now what was the last movie where they played wu tang clan music that wasn't wu affiliated rza method man ect?

Has wu tang even won a Grammy award? Bone has :sas2:

Hypocritical. Straight Outta Compton is affiliated with Bone Thugs through Easy E

To answer your question - A Harold and Kumar Christmas and Knocked Up :mjlol:

Bone got wack after E.1999.Everyone moved off that mo thugs art of war bullshyt.Their music just got wack. But Wu was still heavy in rotation.Mo Thugs shyt came out in 96'.Wu Tang Iron Flag i would say was the end of their run and that was '01.Bone only has 2 classic albums.Wu Tang has too many to count.

I think in this case, sales really does tell the truth. Bone's MUSIC was/is more popular than Wu Tang's, while the Wu's BRAND is stronger due to their business ventures. Both groups were out at the height of FANDOM. I didn't pay $20 for a CD just because. I had to really feel your music. There weren't many true Wu fans that I knew of, just lovers of their singles (Cream, Ice cream, Triumph, etc..). I couldn't ever get into them like that though, as a group. Meth, Rae and Ghost was all I wanted to hear. I tried to like that Triumph album but, it was a no-go.

Bone was just better to me. They sold more because they appealed to more people. It's simple. Some people didn't know what the hell they were saying, but harmonizing and melodies is a hell of a drug, especially for radio. Also, to sell that many records, you must be popular in every region, so quit that "I ain't know anybody who listened to bone" shyt. Somebody in your hood was listening breh. Bone's talent is undeniable. They started falling off when the group turmoil reached its peak (BTNH resurrection was good, but was a big drop off) yet still went gold with only 3 members years later.

I don't have to shyt on Wu because I think Bone was better. I KNOW Wu is one of the GOATs. It's a matter of preference. Men lie, women lie, but numbers don't when it comes to popularity.
